I am leaning toward purchasing a treadmill at CostCo for $800 or so. (Not the one that has the $200 "coupon".) I was wondering if there are any ways to get additional discounts? (I already know their credit card gives a 1% cash back, I would likely skip applying for their new card. My debit card might give me 1% back, not sure.)
I do not yet have a membership with them. On the membership part, I can possibly get a friend to purchase it in their name (but then it's more hassle re: warranty/return/exchange I'm sure.) And I know I can try to share a membership with someone, that helps a little. Anything else?
