I'm looking for a TiVo HD. Currently the best deal I've seen is @ amazon for @249.95.
Also is there any discount @ lifetime service? 399 seems tough, could the receiver last for 5+ years to make it worth?
Any experiences upgrading old receivers having lifetime membership? It would suck to get a"you have to buy the lifetime service again"

Your break even point on lifetime at 399 is 30.8 months, that's 2.5 years. 6ave had the best price on TiVOHD's at 208 with a coupon code but they are OOS at the moment.
