XBOX 360: New or Used?

Someone if offering to sell me their XBOX 360 Premium w/o HDD, with 1 wireless controller, all the cords and the Arcade game bundle for $130. I am very tempted to buy this, but it doesnt include an HDMI port. I will probably upgrade my TV in a year or so, but do I REALLY need an HDMI port to get a great picture, or will the component cables be fine if I get a new HDTV?

Or, should I jump on the $169 XBOX ARCADE deal on Dell since its only $55 more with tax.

Ive done this before.. go with the new as the older xboxs have a tendancy to fail and you will not have warranty on it. Get the dell deal so you at least have a year warranty. I ended up getting a used one and it broke after a few months. I simply bought a new one from bb and got a warranty anyway.. my xbox is used constantly and sending it back to ms takes weeks.
