MultiMedia Desktop PC Needed - NO MONITOR - Quad Core Preferred

I have a Chiropractor who is looking for a deal on a sweet Multi-media PC. NOT A MAC :)

He will be copying DVD's, Editing Photos and high-quality Video, and Watching Movies on the computer, and basic word processing and email (of course).

He already has a nice widescreen monitor and a good printer so all he needs is the PC, Quad-core preferred.

Price does NOT matter as long as it's a good deal by SD Standards :)


Any suggestions? If you live in Denver, he might even adjust your back for free if you can help him find one :cool:

Here's what I chose from that link. I had to add the 9-in-1 reader, an extra DVD burner for copying DVDs, and everything else was just set to default. I will probably install an extra hard drive and video card purchased from Newegg.

Total cost: $549. Do you think that's a good deal for this config? I don't know much about this sort of thing. :rolleyes:

Thanks! I think i'll probably do it... Is there a version of Vista better than this for multimedia stuff or is this sufficient?

Vista Home Premium that comes with this system is good since it has Windows Media Center
