it seems like whenever there are a bunch of newbies around every one (including me) flame them for not following rules. would it be possible to have some faq/basics as a sticky first post in each forum (except lounge cause anything goes there) so people can easily see what to do? we can include things like, don't hit new thread if you want to reply and such.

I think that is a great idea. I was just thinking of making the same post yesterday AM. I also get tired of seeing the lame asses drop the lines "REPOST" when someone posts something they didn't see. I know when I post a deal etc... I am not looking for anyone else to have posted it before. It is like telling someone they did something wrong and will prevent them from posting something of value in the future.

I actually agree with this and had intended to do so some time ago but lost my train of thought. If you guys want to come up with something I'd be glad to sticky it. I just don't have alot of time myself to sit down and come up with a list. Glad to hlep though.

What information should I include when I post a deal?
Try to include details such as the expiration date of the coupon, minimum purchase requirements, site link, shipping and handling costs, and the coupon code. The more information you include, the better. Follow up if possible, so you can edit your post to include new developments.

Prior to posting, please use the search feature to see if your contribution has already been posted.
Deal requests and questions belong in the Help Me Find a Deal forum.Deals that are free belong in the Freebie forum. Free Magazines belong in the Free Magazine forum.
Self-promotion is not allowed.
Treat other forum members with respect. Please dont flame others. We are all here for the same purpose - to find hot deals and to share the deals we find.
Please refrain from using vulgar and/or explicit language.
When you want to reply to a message, either scroll doewn to the bottom of the page and type your message in the your reply box. or you can click the post reply bottom after the last message on the box. the new thread button creates a new thread and just creates more work for the moderators.
If you want to post something that doesn't fit into any of the above categories try the lounge.
