HP Mini 1000 will soon have a 6 cell battery. This is by far the most attractive netbook on the market.
Samsung NC10 is probably the highest quality / most full featured netbook available, now.
Lenovo S10 is a very high quality netbook, but the keyboard just wasn't big enough for my hands. (Keep in mind, I'm 6'1") Although the screen on the S10 is 10", the keyboard is smaller than the HP and Samsung netbooks.
MSI has just released the U120, a refresh for the original MSI Wind. The only differences are the appearance and the fact that you can't upgrade the ram. (Unlike the U100, with the U120 you're stuck with 1gb)
Word for the wise: Don't wait for dual core atom processors in netbooks. Intel doesn't want them: http://www.fudzilla.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=11352&Itemid=66

any news on what the Atom refresh will actually entail? Considering dual core seems to be out?
Sony has a cool netbook out, but it start at $899. Hopefully no one buys it and it will come down to half that price. Sony needs a good street butt kicking for even thinking about issuing a "netbook" for that price.
Still looks cool, but sometimes those cool looking ones suck the life out of you and break the bank, I know, I broke up with her years ago.
