Hey there SDers! I cooked up one of these spreadsheets last year, and thought I would start another one this year. All the deals listed are gift with registry. I DO NOT list gift with completion. I'll try and keep the wiki updated, as well as the spreadsheet. Please point me to current offers! Thanks!

Macy's Forms: 2010 forms are at: http://www1.macys.com/registry/wedding/m/gifts-with-registry

How to Find your Macy's Registry Number:

Instead of logging into your registry, look up your registry as a guest would by entering your name under "Give - Find a couple's registry." Once you find your registry, click "View registry" then "Printable page" on the upper right corner of the page. Your registry number will show on the last page of your registry on screen and when you print.

Your registry number is also in the URL of the printable page. Example: "http://macys.weddingchannel.com/gvr/printguestregistrydetail.action?retailer_registry_uid=123456789&listby=dept&print=true" is the URL, and 123456789 is the registry number.

How To Save Paper When Printing your Registry:

On the print screen, click "Properties", then change the document options to "4 pages per sheet" and "landscape" orientation (it will be small but still legible). I also print front and back - this way you can print a 12-page registry on 2 pieces of paper.

Average delivery time is 4-8 weeks to receive most items.

Thanks hpersellin!! I went to my nearby BBB and requested the forms, but they made it a very awkward process. She kept asking me which specific forms I wanted from the list and wanted to walk around with me to add items on. When I asked her for a copy of 5 of the forms, she asked me if I was really adding all of that on. Even though I am actually getting married in 2010, I thought BBB was making it very awkward for me. In the end, the lady said she would print out the forms for me and just mail them home. This was 1 month ago, and I've never received anything. So thanks again hpserllin!!

There were rumors that Macys was going to change it's program again. I am waiting until April to head to the store, since it usually takes that long for them to figure out what they are doing in store.

My Fiance and I registered at Macy's, and added a bunch of things to our registry. We received an email out of the blue that we qualified for a free item from Cuisinart, and that they would take care of it. A few weeks later we received the Cuisinart CD Recipe Set for Newlyweds in the mail. Exactly the same as the one from the BBB promotion.

So I'm guessing they probably have a very similar promotion to BBB, except you don't have to bother filling out the forms or sending anything in. Would be nice to find out what exactly the promos are though.

**UPDATED 6/12/09 - some items are no longer available and others have been added**

My daughter is getting married in October & she registered with Macy's.

I just got this booklet in the mail today with the registry gifts.

It doesn't say how they are redeemed though - whether there is a form or if they are done automatically.

She did pick up the free tote bag in-store - very nice & has an attached luggage tag.

Hope this helps! And hope I did the attachments right!

I used the Ginkgo .pdf form for BB&B that hpersellin posted and have already received the gift (a serving spoon), so there was no problem for me. YMMV

I have also received the 3-piece bar board/knife set from J.A. Henckel's. I would definitely recommend this one - very nice set.

Also, Macy's didn't send any forms with the booklet and they didn't give my daughter any forms when she picked up the free tote. If anyone has the forms, could you post them please? The closest Macy's to me is about an hour from here.

Thanks!

I don't think there are forms. I went to pick up my bag and info and she said they would get in touch with me. Apparently it also says on the bottom that not all items are available for in store pick up which means that some must be available for in store pick up. I think they do it differently than BB&B and Kohls. I am going to call to double check.

Update: Calling was useless because she knew absolutely nothing about that reward program at all. The only one they know about is the one that you need to sign up for the credit card ...of course because the other one has nothing to do with macys - it's only between you and the company providing the gift, that's what the consultant told me. But there were no forms with the packet of information in the tote bag.

The only thing I saw on the Macy's site was the reward program where you get back a gift card for purchases made against your wedding registry and you have to have a macy's card to qualify for that.

How they would know u didn't just register for the gifts and then buy the stuff yourself I have no idea because it didn't look like it had to be purchased with a macy's cc, only that the bride/groom has to have a macy's card to qualify for the rewards.

Macys has 2 separate rewards programs for bridal registry. The one with the credit card you get 5% of the total of the gifts purchased for you so if at your wedding everyones purchases totaled 10,000 you get 5% of that on a gift card, plus whatever you buy on your credit card...I just called a specific store and they told me that when you create your registry your consultant reviews it to see what rewards you qualify for and then gives you the papers to fill out. You really have to be dedicated to this one.

Well, I got lucky and my daughter's wedding consultant at Macy's is very friendly and helpful. She emailed me copies of the forms I specifically requested and is supposed to mail the rest to me. I posted the 3 I have and will post the others if she sends them (fingers crossed). I currently have Wilton Armetale, DeLonghi, and Calvin Klein.

You need to attach a copy of your registry and fill out each form and send it to the listed address.

I got mine last week and I didn't see anything about a free 8x10 in it. Where did you get it?? The lady only asked me when was the wedding. lol It's May 22nd, but still would love to get my free picture.

Thanks!

The guy at BBB printed them from his computer, so I assume they can be reproduced.

Has anyone tried setting up their BBB registry online only?

My registry is online :)

You have to have a credit card for that first one tho right?......... even if you don't buy anything yourself, to get the rewards you have to have a macys card I think.

yes for that you need a credit card... and you can make your registry online at any of these places and they don't say anything about it at macys they look it up, at BB&B they just print them all unless you specify which one you need

Does anybody have PDF's of the Macy's redemption forms like hpersellin uploaded for BBB & Kohls awhile back?

I really don't want to wait until Feb of 2010 to get the redemption forms since I'll be in the last weeks of planning and my consultant won't give them to me until 1 month before my wedding :(

I'm mostly looking for:

The Calven Klein
De'Longhi
Orrefors/Kosta Boda
Oster
Reed& Barton
Vera Wang Wedgewood

I will  you forever!!!

Well, I got lucky and my daughter's wedding consultant at Macy's is very friendly and helpful. She emailed me copies of the forms I specifically requested and is supposed to mail the rest to me. I posted the 3 I have and will post the others if she sends them (fingers crossed). I currently have Wilton Armetale, DeLonghi, and Calvin Klein

Thank you & repped. Please post us more forms when available.

Instead of logging into your registry, try looking up your registry as someone else would by entering your name under "give - find a couple's registry". Once you find your registry, click "view registry" then "printable page" on the upper right corner of the page.
Then when you print the Macy's registry, your registry number will show on the last page of your registry on screen and when you print.

Thanks!. I couldn't find it before for some reason. This is great! When I clicked on your link I was able to find the list of offers but then when I searched the specific products they had offers for I couldn't find the info. Here's something I found out and thought I'd share:

When you register at www.celebrationweddingregistry.com your registry will be available at any of these 7 stores:
Bon-Ton, Bergner's, Boston Store, Carson Pirie Scott, Elder-Beerman, Herberger's or Younker's stores.

All 7 store offer the same wedding registry gifts:
http://www.celebrationweddingregistry.com/info/rebatecenter.jsp

They also offer a free wedding and gift planner when you register for atleast 10 items, available in store.
http://www.celebrationweddingregistry.com/giftregistry/sb_planner.jsp

Also, my sister-in-law registered online at Simon Pearce. She received a welcoming gift that included gourmet chocolates. They also offered her a complimentary dinner and a night's stay in one of thier hotels. This would have been nice if she lived in that area.

Usually, somewhere at the top of the page is a tab that says "printable version", if you click on that, it usually condenses the pages to fit onto 1-2 pages. If that doesn't work, you can go into your printer options, and just set to print only the page numbers you need.

Yea i got that part i saw thanks. But I have alot of stuff on my registry that might not pertain to that specific vendor i'm mailing. Is it general practice to just send them all the stuff you have and highlight the information for that vendor, or do you remove the old stuff so that the new stuff is selected and then re-add everything at a later time?

I think BBB has a box to check to remove the gallery view. That will compress it a little bit.

What I did was to add items for the first promo. Print that registry list. Add stuff for the next.... print that list. Add stuff for the third item, print that list, etc.

The list obviously gets longer, but only at the end was I printing more than a page.

As I went along, I filled out the forms and put them in the envelopes with the appropriate registry list. That way I didn't have to try to remember what items were qualifying for each promotion.

Took a while, but the items I have received have been nice.

I got maybe 3/4 of what I sent away for (all from Macy's last year), but I didn't send away for everything. I never did get the circulon butter warmer, but they sent me the heart pancake pan, and i received three or four of the analon knives for no apparent reason, and two of the same cake server. I know there were people that got multiple pancake flippers from Kohl's too.

I added a few more Macy's forms to the Wiki today - Krups, Reed & Barton, Royal Worcester, Victorinox Swiss Army, and Villeroy&Boch.

Apparently, they have recently changed the program - you have to add the items to your registry first and then request the forms, so she would only send me the forms I was eligible for.

Also, I was told that Oster and Delsey no longer participate. I have requested an updated list of gifts with registry and will post it when I get it.

No problem - glad to help!

My daughter's college friends held an early bridal shower for her this past weekend (they were all graduating and wanted to have it before they scattered), so I gave Meg all the stuff I had sent for and received so far. Now I have about 6 other future brides that I have to tutor on how to get the freebies! They were all amazed that you could get some really nice quality stuff just for registering.

Sent for and received so far (so they do come, and some of them pretty quickly):

BB&B
Ginkgo Serving Piece (I got a gravy ladle)
Henckels Paring Knife
Henckel's Flatware Storage Box (extra nice)
Yamazaki Serving Spoon

Williams-Sonoma
Wusthof Pull-apart Shears (almost kept these for myself)
Le Creuset Petite Casserole

Kohl's
HenckelsŽ International 3-Piece Bar Board Set (extra nice)
Cuisinart CD Recipe Set

Just started on the Macy's deals - we'll see what happens with them.

For the Bed Bath & Beyond registry, can anyone find the Henckels Twin flatware on the site for the free flatware storage tray? I only see knives on there, no flatware sets???

Does anyone have the Macy's forms for Keurig, Lenox, Lladro, Mikasa, Rowenta, Wallace/towle/Gorham/Kirk Steiff/International, Waterford flatware? If not how can I get the forms I am registered with Macy's online so do I just need to add the items to my registry and then call?

Does any one know if you can send in for the Calphalon knife through BBB or request it online and also send in for the Calphalon Fry Pan through Williams-Sonoma? Are you able to do both?

How long did you wait for them to arrive?

About how long ago did you start sending away for your items? I have received abut 5 things so far, but still awaiting many that are on your list! :-D

They got engaged in early March, so I started sending for them around the end of March. They all arrived in April, so 2-4 weeks for each maybe? Less than a month on each one anyway.

You have to add the items then contact your consultant and request the forms you need (I emailed mine and she emailed me .pdf's for each one - check your original email from when you first registered and it should tell you who to contact). I posted the ones I had qualified for on the Wiki post (first page).

Do a search for Henckels in the BB&B search box - there are several flatware sets - some of them $99.99 which would qualify (doesn't have to be Twin on the flatware)

I don't know, but I sure tried! I already had received my Calphalon knife before I even sent in the Williams Sonoma form. I think they are 2 different mailing addresses,so maybe that will help! *fingers crossed*.

Thanks for the reply. I'm just a little concerned about mailing it in since there are only Twin knives on the site, no flatware sets. It says on the form that it has to be Twin flatware that is at least $99.99. Kind of confused about that but I might try sending it in anyway with another one of the Henckels flatware sets!

My daughter's registered for the Henckel's Provence Flatware Set (http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=107234&RN=505) and there was no problem receiving the wooden storage box. I think for the paring knife that it does specifically have to be Twin. Sorry if I was confusing

Okay, so I went to Macy's today to complete my registry and pick up my free tote bag, which is nice by the way, and I was able to score some more forms! :woot: I've got the forms for Mikasa, Wallace/Gorham/Towle, Noritake, Waterford (Lismore Perfume Gift) and Kitchenaid. She also gave me the forms for Rowenta and Calphalon but when I looked at it closer when I got home those are for completion gifts. I just emailed my consultant letting her know and requested the registry gift forms for those, so hopefully she will email those to me. I also requested Lenox. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed for those forms.

I'd like to share my forms and I've scanned them up and they are ready to go, but I just can't figure out how to convert them to a file and create a link on here for you guys to get them. Its probably something simple I'm Sure but I just can't figure it out. I can email the forms to someone that knows how to get them on here if you want to PM your email to me!

So far I've gotten:

Shun knife
Henckels 3 pc set
Noritake platinum vase
Waterford crystal wine bottle coaster (I don't remember even sending for that one? Has anyone else gotten it?)
Michael Aram for waterford juniper dinner bell
Cuisinart CD recipe set
Royal Doulton crystal tealight holder
Ginkgo ladle spoon
Onedia serving spoon
Yamazaki gone fishing serving spoon
DeLonghi cheese board/knife set
Henckels flatware storage tray
Analon 5'' santoku knife in gift box
Henckels twingrip paring knife

(All of these except the cheese set came from BB&B or Kohl's)

Also, I received a book from Macy's telling me what all of their current gift with registry offers were, and when I asked the associate at a Macy's in Memphis, TN how to get the stuff she said it would be sent automatically...? Haven't gotten any of it "automatically" yet. I already sent off a couple of forms for things though so maybe that has something to do with it?

The registry and form does not go to BBB or Macy's it goes to a fullfillment center, so I do not advise sending more than 1 unless it is 2 different gifts to the same address. Like the Royal Durhan one, that was a tea light candle holder and a vase, I sent for the vase.

Hope that helps.........I'm still working on getting all mine mailed out. lol I ran out of ink!

Happily married as of May 22nd, 2009.

You can always make changes to the registry. If you are getting married in a few months, just add everything to copy the registry, wait a month then delete it.

Or you can just tell everyone you don't want this and that on my registry, I did it for a promotion they had going. That's what I did. lol Of course I don't have that expensive taste, so everyone knew that wasn't me. :)

Good Luck and Congratulations!

I read all the posts and I am so confused about one thing. When you send for the free item do you?

1)mail a registry with only the items that are required to get the free item
2) mail a registry with a couple of items added to what is required
3)mail the entire registry

My registry is very long, I would hate to have to print the whole thing over and over, but I will if that is what is needed to get the item.

Thank you!!!!!

Unfortunately, you have to send the entire registry. Mine was 9 pages long.

I went into my printer preferences/fininshing and changed pages per sheet from 1 page to 4 on one page, so I only used 2 pages of printer paper. I just hope they can read it. lol

Not really. I just sent in the portion with my name, wedding date, registry number (which is on the first page) and then the pages that included the items I registered for that particular promotion. I've received most of the items I sent for and waiting for others to arrive any day now.

Try this:

Instead of logging into your registry, try looking up your registry as someone else would by entering your name under "give - find a couple's registry". Once you find your registry, click "view registry" then "printable page" on the upper right corner of the page.
Then when you print the Macy's registry, your registry number will show on the last page of your registry on screen and when you print.

I noticed for BBB, macys, and the other places on the wiki, some of the places like cuisinart cross over with their registry program. Has anyone who has been receiving them using their same name and bride/groom name for each one and gotten separate gifts for the same company? or do they only allow one per wedding?

and then for macy's, the files that aren't there that are not marked with the *, are those automatic or the forms are not up yet?

well, 10 dollars of stamps is on the way to having to mail each and every one of these, too bad you can't just e-mail them or something

Page 9 of this thread. You might find other answers to your questions by skimmimg through the thread. Just added Simon Pearce to the WIKI.

Thank You!

I did a registry for Simon Pearce.

I don't live near one, so can't use the 1 night stay :( Not unless there's one in Louisiana somewhere.

As far as I know cuisinart has the same gift, so why would you want to get it 3 times?

I only send for my gifts 1 time. I recommend that to everyone

Well, Considering I did have that amount I'm wondering why I didn't get the code. I just checked and found I didn't have the box checked to get messages from them, maybe that's it or do you think I should call them?

Thanks

I sent them an email and they said that I didn't create my registry during the time they had the promotion going.

SO........I'll just go buy it :)

I end up giving them to people or, depending on what the gift is, it can be good to have extras lying around, especially some of these gifts where they give knives, and pans.

That's fine if you get more than 1 from the company, but to request more than 1 is not right and in fact can cost you the original gift.

For instance, I was new to doing the registry freebies, requested the analon knife (wasn't getting married) and never received the knife.

2 yrs ago we planned on getting married and something happened and we didn't (put it on hold). Now when I requested it again I was told that I couldn't receive it, because I had requested it twice and I had to email them and tell them I never received the first one. I then received the 1 knife.

That's all I'm saying. Don't request it twice if you truely want the gift, because there are limited amounts of gifts and they do know if you ordered it more than once.

I cleaned up the Wiki Macy's section a little (hopefully less confusing now). Also, I got the DeLonghi cheese set and the Villeroy & Boch baker VERY quickly - mailed 5/18, received today. The Villeroy & Boch baker is absolutely gorgeous! By itself, it would make a nice wedding gift.

I'm lucky to have a legitimate reason to request the freebies (daughter getting married in October), but I have seriously been considering setting up one for my anniversary next year just because of the quality of the gifts. The baker I got today is nicer than anything I own LOL.

If you go to macys.com and search as if you are a guest to your wedding, it will list your registry number. You could also call and ask for it.

I ended up just not putting my registry number on the Macy's forms. If they wanted to look it up online, it'd be easier to just put in our first and last name anyway. Hopefully it won't be a big deal.

I'm sending off for all my registry gifts this weekend. I already sent for about 5 of them from BBB on May 20th.

I'm going to set registries up for my daughter as soon as they set the date and it sticks! So far they were suppose to get married July 2009 then Dec 2009 and now it's July 2010! LOL Not sure of the wedding date as HE has credit debt issues, so waiting for that to get straight (LONG STORY), but he can't handle payments and living away from home........hoping that changes in the next few weeks!

I don't think they look up the registry, I think they just want all the info. I hope NOT having your registry # doesn't effect your receiving the gifts.

I found my registry # by going to the registry as a guest and looked up my registry and printed it out the # is at the end of the sheet!

Good Luck!

Since you are getting married in almost a year from now, you could send for the gifts and then remove the items after you've received the gifts from the vendors. You can always change registries without a problem.

I'm still adding to mine and I've been married 11 days now. Still printing and sending for my gifts too. lol

No, you can only wait for it.
Some gifts came really fast, some takes forever....
I received my De'Longhi cheese set and just like wendyeagle posted, it is VERY nice. I also receive the ceramic from Villeroy & Boch, but it does not look the same as on the registry gift. My is a oval shape with some olive or fruits on it (Maybe they ran out of original).
I also receive the red Petite Casserole from Le Creuset (William-Sonoma Registry). Super~~~ Cute, but I am not sure what I can use it for? Bake garlic?

Actually there are sites you can go to, but not for all of the items. It's sort of hit or miss.

Try these:

Thanks, I was just confused, I just want to make sure I do all this correctly. No, I wouldn't do it twice. I've noticed that alot of programs or freebies stop all together if there are too many duplicates. I don't want to sound like a goody-goody but it really wouldn't feel right ruining it for people in the future.

I understand vow renewals, anniversaries, etc. Those are the types of things that are understandable having a registry for.

I'm excited about this, can't wait to get my gifts and I just finished my Macy's registry with more stuff, so will try to get back to a different Macy's (there are 2 that I can go to) and see if I can get the other forms that we don't have. lol

If you have a Macy's near you, go get your bag, it's a Victorinox Swiss Army bag with retail value of $59! Just go to the bridal registry tell them you registered online and would like to get your free bag and the gift forms.
