Hi, I've been trying to find a good deal on a spring break trip with my boyfriend. We have never gotten to spend a spring break together, so I really wanted to do something fun (and preferably warm). I live in NJ, so I'd either be looking for somewhere I can drive (I'd be willing to drive down to Florida to save on airfare) or cheap tickets somewhere.

I was thinking Florida just because it's warm and I could drive there (though it'd be a long drive) and the idea of sitting on a beach all day sounds wonderful. However, I am having trouble finding an affordable place for two (once you add all the cleaning fees and taxes, it adds up...). Also, many places will not rent to under 25... I will be 21 by the time of the trip though. I don't know if hotels would be cheaper, or if anyone knows of a cheap condo, etc. No preference really on the place, as long as there's a beach!
I was also thinking maybe a trip to Mexico (but with airfare it seems this would be more expensive...unless you know something good!!)

My spring break is March 7-14... if anyone knows good hotel/condo deals... cruises, a trip to Mexico... anything would be greatly appreciated!! I've been looking around at a lot and it's just so hard to sort through the information. I'd say something around 200 dollars would be good, but really if you have any suggestions, post them no matter what!

TIA!! :worship:

If you are looking for cheap accommodations, stay at a Hostel
http://www.hostels.com/us.fl.ot.html these can in group settings which helps you meet others. If you also want personal quarters, you can't go wrong with staying in something like this for at least a day or two.
OR
You could always drive, pack your food, stay at hostels on the way and have a place like a bungalow or hotel at your destination. That's sounds fun to me but I'd probably go to Mexico !! If you don't go to American tourist traps, you can stay so cheap, you might not leave
