Storage issues

Okay I have a 2 car garage and no storage shelves so its getting to the point that I have to make rows in order to walk in the garage. I want to build shelves to line the whole outside of my garage but I cant find any industrial Home Depot style storage racks. Home depot has a few but they are smaller than what I want. If I bought these (http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100489746&N=10000003+10401010) I would need to buy about 8 @ $102 a piece. Anyone have any solutions on where I could get similar metal that makes up the legs? I would personally like thicker gauge metal but this would work for most of my need I think. I can cut and weld whatever I need I just can't find this type of steel anywhere.

We bought 3 of these types of storage shelves almost exactly like these posted at Sam's Club a few years ago for less than $60.00. I don't know if they still have them though.

Read the reviews on the shelving at Lowe's. Doesn't sound very sturdy. Someone suggested Anchoring them to the studs in the garage. Not a big deal I suppose, unless you don't want holes in your walls (if the garage has drywall). The 18" shelves are nice.

Check out Big Lots. Not sure if these are the same ones you're looking for but they have plastic ones for ~ $40 (at least $60 at Amazon.) We needed to create storage in our basement so after much looking we just recently found and bought 3 when they were running their 20% coupon deal. It's 72-Inch Five-Shelf Shelving Unit. We'll be going back to get some more once they run the 20% coupon thing again.
