My friends and I have planned a spring break mini vacation to orlando on march 8-14th! I was able to get in on the lmt $1 hotel deal and we are staying at the omni resort champions gate. We are all 21 and havent been to orlando since we were around 5....does anyone have any suggestions or tips about things that would be fun to do in orlando! Thanks:wave:

Thought I'd piggyback onto this thread instead of making my own. I'm flying in for a weekend, possibly a week in March. Dates are not set in stone because this will be a spur of the moment thing.
I alo wanted an idea of must-do things to do for two young professionals, particularly reasonably-priced golfing, good nightlife spots (cost-irrelevant), and well, anything that keeps me from resorting to going to Disney World on more than one day. Any help from locals is greatly appreciated!

I would like to spend a reasonable amount but we would like to know of things such as nightclubs, arcades like a dave and busters, shopping, malls, beaches and yes outdoors is something we are most definitely interested in. we are making it a roadtrip and are gonna be driving to orlando from houston!

here is a list:
Nightlife: Downtown Orlando after 10 (Orange Avenue), Upscale Bar-Blue Martini Shopping: Premium Outles, Prime Outlets, Millenia Mall Local Attractions: Old Town, International Drive (Cheesy Tourist Area)
Small town: Winter Park (Park Avenue)
If you like arcades there is Disney Quest which is a big 4 story building with virtual reality and a whole bunch of arcades games, very unique I guess. If you like waterparks Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach, If you golf there are a lot of nice golf courses to choose from. If you like watersports you could rent a jetski or a boat or try parasailing. As far as beaches New Smyrna Beach isnt bad and if you are willing to make a trip to west coast of Florida to Clearwater, they are known for their nice beaches.

Firkin and Kegler is most like Dave and Busters. Its a little far from where you are staying about 45 min away but on the plus side its near one of Florida's largest universities where you will find a couple more hang out spots.
If you are in Florida and want to do something Southern I would recommend air boat rides, and maybe Gatorland. But don't have too high of expectations with Gatorland and only go if you can get real cheap tickets.
What you will find is Central Florida has way too many shopping plazas that all have pretty much the same thing and alot of food chains.
Sarasota also has nice beaches plus I think they are hosting a fair that week.

Best thing for Spring Breakers to do in Orlando on Spring Break is other Spring Breakers!
