Sorry if there is already a post about this selection.
1. i need 240 pin DDR2 for DESKTOP memory.
2. i will be needing TWO 2x1 kits for a total of 4 gigs, for windows ultimate 32 bit
3. PC2 8500
4. Price restrictions - under 25 per kit.
5. FS, MiR, IR would be fantastic, but not needed as long as its under 25 per kit.
most important, i know the corsair dominator series are pretty much the best priced and work fantastic. but since i have a Foxconn A79A-S with a vendetta cooler, the fins / vertical heat sinks make it impossible to insert the ram under the cpu cooler.
that or if you guys know its safe to remove those heatsinks and run the ram sticks standalone without coolers would be fine also.
