I ran across this website that has thousands of songs from various indie artists for free! The website is still in beta but you can download thousands of songs for free. They downloaded straight into my iTunes! You don't have to enter any email address or anything either. Seems like a good deal.

On the left side of the website you can search by genre. To download a song, click on the button with the arrow pointing down to the right of the play button (next to the song).
