Free icecream at Brusters 3/7 if your wear your PJs - YMMV

I was at my local Brusters icecream shop today and noticed that they are giving away free icecream during business hours on March 7th. The only stipulation is that you have to come in your PJs.
Sounds like a great deal.
Not sure if this is for other stores.
This is for the stores I have noticed in Charlotte, NC.

I called and they said that it is customer appreciation day and the pajamas are just to add some fun to it. They said even sweatpants will count. I guess if they refuse me, I will just get el boffo and tell that that I sleep in the nude.

I'm not seeing it now, but when I searched a month or two ago, a blog site said that northern states would be a slightly later weekend (when it was a little warmer). I don't know if that was or still is true. Check with your store to see if/when they're participating.

So get this, my daughter and MIL went to Dairy Queen and paid for ice cream rather than get free ice cream from Brusters. Seriously. And B's is right across the street. So, it makes no freaking sense.

Just got back from visiting a store near me. Got my free waffle cone. :yummy:

They said they've had about 40 people show up in their PJs since 5pm. Earlier in the evening there were some lines, but no waiting just now.

That particular store is open 'ili 11pm on Saturdays (web page shows 10pm), and I know they're not the only location that's open later. So there's still plenty of time for many folks.

I had called two other locations earlier this afternoon. One said they're not participating, and the other never answered their phone.
