Car rental * nights PU at SFo drop at SAN

I need a car rental (gotta fit 4 of us) for 8 days.
Pick up at San Francisco airport
drop at San Diego

this will be in June.


I've checked sites like travelocity and each car rental place has a drop fee of 500 or there abouts.

A few years ago, I rented a car at avis, and drove it 700 miles from AR to CHiago for about 200 bucks

You should try Enterprise. Though they generally dont have one ways, I believe they make an exception in California if you call them.

I have the same problem but since I need to return in a different state, it doesnt help me. I need to pick up in San Fran March 20, drop off in Las Vegas March 28.

Any good deals? Im thinking of just waiting this one out, right now its at $100/day for a van.
