My almost 15 year old daughter wants a pink netbook!!!!

Well, girls will be girls I guess!! She is getting great grades in school and said she sure would like a pink netbook for her birthday. She would mainly use it for chatting with her friends, and of course she also said "homework". Yeah, right!!!!

Anyway, I'm trying to stay under 300 bucks for this......best bang for the buck under 3 bills and pink? Thank you.

I just got the Acer with windows XP, 120 gig hard drive and the web cam from Tiger Direct.com for $279 open box. It looked perfect like new when I opened the box and works great. It just came today.

They have never charged my tax and I've spent a couple grand on camera stuff the last year or so.......product was always as described and shipped very fast!! These guys are great.

I'll have to look into the live cash thing.....don't know anything about it.

I'm starting to lean towards this one......reason: I went and checked out the 8.9 inch screens and they were just too darn small to read.

Comments or suggestions? Wasn't there suppose to be some type of rebate with these as well? Thanks.
