I can't seem to find enough information regarding the hard drive for the Dell Latitude XT Tablet.

I believe it will take 8mm, 1.8" PATA SSD, correct?

But most of the SSD on the market are 2.5" SATA or 1.8" PCI-e for Dell Mini/Eee.

The new Runcore SSD seems very promising, but will it fit and where can I get it? Thanks in adavance.

I think it is supposed to fit, at least technically. However, there have apparently been problems with the drive in getting the ZIF cables to connect.

Right now, I think mydigitaldiscount.com is the only place in the US that sells them and they're temporarily recalled due to the aforementioned issue. Google "Runcore SSD and Latitude XT." You should find people discussing the problem.

The drives are supposed to be on sale again some time this month, pending the fix. I sure hope it gets resolved, as I want one too -- this 4200 RPM hard drive is just too slow!
