Let's narrow things down a bit :)
What sort of printer are you looking for? Color? Black & White? Laser? Inkjet?
What's it going to be primarily used for? Printing photos? Printing documents?
How frequently? A few pictures around the holidays? Dozens of pictures a month? Long essays a few times throughout the semester? Weekly essays?
Does it need any extra features? (scanner, copier, fax, duplex printing, network connectivity, etc)
Also, what's your price range?

Based on your lack of input I would suggest setting up a deal alert for "printer" and buying the first one that comes along in your price range.
