When I click on a deal in "Hot Deals", I immediately see the next screen that shows me the details of the deal and all of the comments for that deal. Then I click back to the Hot Deals page, and the page automatically scrolls down to the deal I was looking at. All that is great.
However, when I click back to the Hot Deals page, the deal I looked at does not turn a lighter color of blue to indicate that I've already clicked on that deal. I've read everything in the FAQ and tips that I can find, but I can't find any reason or tip that will make deals that I've clicked on show up differently. This is important to me because I visit SlickDeals several times a day. I always click on the first deal at the top of the page in Hot Deals so that I will know I've looked at it already. The only way I can get it to indicate that I've already searched it is to totally refresh the page, and often even that doesn't work.
What gives? I'm running Firefox on a Mac.
