I would contact them directly then, I know Clinique (even though its not Lancome) is amazing with returns. I've returned products instore and once using their email contact they send me a pre-paid envelope to return a product and sent me a new one.

I was denied (by Clinique) to exchange a duo-eyeshadow that was a gift from my Mom (at Macy's). It didn't have their "return sticker" on it, so they wouldn't exchange it. I ended up having to mail it back to my mom, as we live a few states apart, and she took it back to the store with her receipt to exchange it. What a hassle! :shake:

:) Sorry for the rant! Back to the subject, I hope I get an eyeshadow palate like you guys! I'm always getting mascaras! The last one I got was the Lancome Oscillation that vibrates. I'm still a little intimidated to try it... LOL

Was funny when I lived at the other house, the UPS guy would bring a VS package and always ask me what I got for fiancé. It was hard to convince him that VS sold actual clothes. A Lamcome gentle clay facial mask, Loreal golden balm moisterizer for the eye area and Kiehl's gentle eye makeup remover. :)

Dulcecandy on youtube has a great video showing how she does her daily "natural" eye look. I do something similar to her's. I wish I could show you myself. You should go to the counter and tell them which ones you got as gifts, and you need help in figuring out how to use them. But keep in mind that a lot of makeup counter ladies put it on thick.

I received what I thought was a normal envelope from L'Oreal, but when I came inside and went to open it, I realized that one of the flaps had been opened, and then cut off (so the package still appeared normal) and the contents were gone. I have a locked mailbox, so I know it didn't happen post-delivery. Although disappointed, I'm not really worried about losing 1 gift/product. However, I am a little worried about it happening again.

I have received packages where it was partly opened but the contents were not stolen. I've never received one with a cut off flap though.

I would contact the Post Office. This has happened to me in the past when I lived at a different house. I would call the local office and if I didn't get any results I would call the state Post Office. Although nothing was done about that particular item I think the people on the route were warned and it never happened again. Don't just take that kind of crap! It made me furious when it happened to me.:eek:
The place where I live now I am truly blessed with wonderful postal workers who are grateful to me! They call me job security! LOL!

I'm glad it is not just me. I'm a bit colorblind but I was like hmm, maybe one is kinda rosy, but the others? Maybe roses in drought. I may try it out even though it says it is for green/hazel eyes and I have brown, but if it doesn't work for me, I know a hazel eyed friend who would love it.

I already gave my mother the Youth Code. Luckily I'd explained to her about Loreal before so she didn't seem too offended when I said she could have it ;)

Either way, this was my first product test so I'm happy. It'll remind me there is hope at the end of the DQ'd tunnel!

Did you try the gloss? I'm trying to decide whether to try it or give it to someone (neice or daughter-in-law). Once I try it I wouldn't give it away. I'm not much of a gloss user especially if it is sticky. Has anyone tried it yet? Is it sticky like regular gloss or more like moisturizing?

I did try the gloss - I did not find it sticky and it did feel moisturizing. It also smells great and reminds me of cake. The color I received is Baby Blossom, and that is what I didn't care for at all. I read some reviews before I tried it because I couldn't tell thru the tube if I would like it or not. It was mostly described as a soft pink and that is what the pictures showed, but one reviewer said it had changed from the original soft pink and was now more of a peachy beige and that describes what I got. I thought it made my lips look pasty, and DH (who rarely comments or even notices) uttered some disapproval sounds.

Bottom line is that it smells good, feels good, looks bad - I'll probably wear it to bed as a chapstick. HTH!

That sounds pretty - I know I need something to give me a little color, my shade just made me look washed out. I'm not complaining though, I'm always happy to do the product tests and the gifts are a bonus :)

After reading the review on the lip gloss that grrin gave I decided to try it and it really is as good as she said! I got the same color that MusicLady got, Violet Attitude, and it's good too. The eye shadow colors are terrific!
