The TV is going to be used in a fairly large bedroom and I want to spend less than $500. I think a 26" flat screen will work from a space and display perspective. The TV will be placed on a desk and and an elderly person will be viewing it from a chair about 12-15' away. There is a DirecTV hook-up although it may eventually be move to a room using an antenna (e.g., free TV only). Any suggestions on a TV? I don't need any fancy features, but I do want reliability as TV is important to the elderly. I found lots of deals/opinions on larger TVs, but nothing on the smaller ones. I live in a rural area, so I have limited stores and want to have an idea of what to look for when I pick one out. If I don't order from the web, I'm assuming I'll end up at Sears or Best Buy to make the purchase.
Thanks!
