Some vbulletin sites have hacked in a strike through code using
This would be great to indicate something old has expired off a list but yet not delete it entirely.
These appear to be the instructions from vbulletin.orgWith the strikethrough, simply make a new custom vB code:
vB Code Tag: s
vB Code Replacement: <s>{param}</s>
vB Code Example: Strikethrough
vB Code Explanation: <s>Strikethrough</s>
Use {option}? No

I'd love to see a strikethrough capability and was surprised that it isn't available.

Except that 8 can be a teensy difficult to distinguish from 0 unless you're looking closely!
Best Buy Price: $180
Circuit City Price: 148
Staples Price: $108
In any event, it will take a while for people posters to start using it.

IMHO i can tell the difference very easilySome people with good eyesight have no problem, but not everyone is so blessed. That's why I used the word "teensy," :lmao:. You're not going to argue that using strikethrough has zero effect on readability, are you?

Thanks for adding this. Very handy so you don't have to take down old information but make it obvious that it is no longer valid.
