ISO-DIN (size I), Euro-din (E) or J size will work.

i have this (http://reviews.cnet.com/in-dash-car-stereos/alpine-cda-9856-radio/4505-6729_7-31693113.html) (two yrs old....they probably have a newer model now). was affordable (<$200, installed) works great in my civic and even charges the ipod.
