Im looking for a diamond ring, but have never looked into jewelry. Is there some good sites that are trust worthy but good prices?

The nice thing about antique rings is you get metal work that is astounding, if you get looking at enough rings, Modern style is so plain, they all look the same just variation of a cut of the stone/ placement. Now an antique, each one is different and has a history, also, you'll never find two antiques that look the same, this was important to her and eventually even I appreciated this. Her engagement ring truly is one of a kind.
Also, from my experience, rings always appraise for more then you pay, makes you wonder who would pay that much for them.
From my searches, I noticed other online retailers sold more of a shoddy ring for a higher price. The more you look, the better feel you'll have whether they are charging you too much or is it is a deal.
FYI, we had been to hundreds of stores and looked at thousands of rings, no exaggeration, trust me, I wish it was an exaggeration.
