I am looking to get a Dell laptop and i have been seeing a lot of deals on some of them, But i am very confused because they offer a lot of models ( xps, studio, Inspiron, etc, etc )

What are some of the major differences in them? Which one has better build quality? I am going to assume the XPS but then again i could be wrong.

I would be doing basic things with the laptop, but from time to time i might want to watch a movie and connect it to my big screen, burn cds, etc.

Any suggestions?

Really my main thing is, what is the difference in all the models?

In summary, XPS is light weight and good looks, Studio is average weight and decent looks while Inspiron is not that good looking

what exactly config are you looking

Yeah i do admit i left information out.

Anyways, My MAIN concerns are these. Good Battery, Bright screen, Durable ( I dont want something that feels cheap )

What i will be doing with it would be the norm. Burning CDs, internet, Maybe from time to time connecting it to my LCD TV to watch movies ( possibly stream? i am not sure yet ), I am not a hardcore gamer, but a game or 2 might be nice, nothing to crazy though.

I think the Latitudes are the best Dell line.
