I found a similar setup at Wal-Mart made by Sunbeam. My exgf has the Bullet, and loves it. I can't find much difference between the Sunbeam and MB, but i don't use it as extensively as some.

i got the same one. it was $25 and the heratige series. sunbean so far appears to be a piece of crap, and considering it is a knock off of the bullet i expect the bullet to be shit too.

i bought it to mix my whey protein and whatever else i needed to mix. it seems with liquids it does a decent job, and with hard objects like nuts. it has a horrible time with onions thought.

what happens is when u put a onion in it, the blade purees the bottom part and the top doesnt get touched.

I have the bullet and love it! Works the best as long as there's a little liquid in there to mix it all up. I got it for $9 at jcpenny on BF!

I do remember seeing in a recent jcpenny ad that it was $15 or so after MIR. I can't verify that though.

I know pennies has it, that's where we got ours. Not sure what the current deals are though.

I have a similar concept blender by Blenda. Got it for $15 and it is great. However, never owned a bullet to compare.

I have the Cooks version from JcP as well. I bought it about a month ago for $28.88 less $10 MIR, which we still haven't sent in. *sigh*

I often see this on sale in their catalogs for around $20 after rebate. I can't tell you how it is for chopping in general, but I have been making fruit shakes in them and it's great for that. Get a package of frozen mixed fruit, add a bit of pineapple juice, orange juice, and Strawberry-Banana Nectar (which I found at Walmart Super Centers) and blend it together. It makes a nice smoothie w/o needing additional ice. Since I'm trying to be more healthy in 2009, I have not tried throwing in a scoop of ice cream yet, but I've been tempted.

Edit: Currently $27.99: http://www4.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?deptid=57089&catid=58059&grptyp=PRD&itemid=14ff88c&dep=Housewares&pcat=Kitchen+Electrics&cat=Blenders&refpagename=X3%252Easpx&refdeptid=57089&refcatid=57345&cmAMS_T=X3&cmAMS_C=C1&CmCatId=57089|57345

Yep same here, make fruit smoothies every few days with frozen fruit and orange juice. Works awesome, it's really quick, and it's really easy to clean!

We've made milkshakes and it works just as goo for those too. And it chops nuts good with the other attachment. Don't think I've chopped anything else with it though.
