I’m in the market to upgrade my 5yr old SMC wireless router. I want to go gigabit and have narrowed it down to 3 models. I’m not a gamer. I will eventually be setting up something to connect to my TV to stream music, pics, video, etc. to. I’ll also be setting up a network storage device for backups, etc. All seem to get fairly decent reviews on NewEgg. Does anyone have any input or suggestions regarding the routers below?

Netgear WNR3500 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833122220)

Thanks for the input.

I have a Dlink 655 and I am pleased. It's routes video for my Lacie Ethernet Mini NAS, Xbox 360, and two Tivos without a hiccup. When downloading a files from the NAS to a computer over ethernet, I get around 19 megabit sustained throughput and around 6 megabit over wifi N (these terms might be wrong but with ftp I get 19,000 kb, so whatever that is!).

Easy setup, virtually none. And it hasn't had to be rebooted since I can remember, maybe once or twice in the two year I've owned it. Seems very stable.
