I earned a free flight on airtran last year, for voluntarily being bumped on a work related flight. I'd never flown with them before though, and didn't realize where they went. I live in Vancouver, BC. So obviously I would be flying out of seattle.
Questions is, where do I go? They fly to Cancun and san jose, Puerto Rico, but I don't think those are safe for a solo female to travel. I'd totally go to miami for the weekend, even though it's far :D Those seem to be the only fun/sunny destinations airtran flys...unless I go to balitmore to go to new york or something (I went there last year though, by myself... not much interest going again).
Know of any other destinations they fly, that I could do a weekend or a week on my own? Into hiking, biking, sight seeing, culture, not much into shopping or cola factory in atlanta (which is where i went for work). Maybe New Orleans? Charleston? Lots of places, but I don't know enough about them to pick. And I don't feel like researching 40 cities.
So, ideas? I'm tempted to just forget about it.... since flyign from seattle is typically cheap anyways... but on the other hand, it's free, and I don't want to waste it! And no, it's not tranferable, I tried
