Is there a "rule page" or anything that kinda outlines what can and cannot be posted as far as illegal suggestions, adult sites, and everything else? Is it mainly "moderator discretion" of what they feel needs to be edited/deleted? Or anyone and everyone who has the ability to click "Report this post to a moderator" because it has offended them?

Here is a thread (http://www.slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12059) that has some info in it.

No adult sites. Yes it is up to the mods to be non bias and edit what they think is appropriate. We encourage everyone to use the "report a post" feature if they feel it is necessary. Alot of the editing and deleting is from those alerts we receive. The alerts are sent out to all the mods...so sooner or later one of us will take a look at it and decide what to do with it. Anymore questions?

Oh and one more thing....feel free to use Private messaging to ask us any questions if you have any questions about something you want to post.

would adult sites include a beer site for a free coaster or something that has you verify you're 21 also? or mainly adult sites sexual in nature?

if a post is edited/deleted, does the person that posted what was edited/deleted get a PM from one of the moderators about it and warned, slapped on the IP (wrist) or anything like that? or is it just edited/deleted and thrown to limbo to be forgotten about?

I think mainly sexual adult sites in is what we mean by no adult sites. The other day there was a freebie for a playboy cd from the playboy casino. A few of the mods talked about it and found nothing wrong with the freebie because it wasn't really advertising porn, it was a legitimate freebie for a betting program which was put out by the playboy casino company. Anyhow we let it stay but once other people start seeing it as offensive then we have to go back and take a look. In this case it was moved away for safe keeping. If a post is edited most likely the author won't get sent a message unless the mod feels it is appropriate to do so. If your waaay overline yeah we'll shoot you a message telling you to take it easy and warn you about it. It all depends on the situation, some do require slaps on the wrist and others don't. Did you have a question about something in particular?
