I know this sounds quirky but I want the black elite unit. I am not fond of the white color. I have a PS3 anyway, so I may just stay with this unit.

I do look on ebay everyday, I have over 615 feedback so I am pretty familiar with it. I was hoping for something of a coupon coming up..

There is rumour of Elite bundles coming with Halo 3 and Fable 2 for the same price. Those are two excellent games. It is all over the net:

If you are in no rush... Also keep in mind that all accessories are generally white. I was particular about the black too, but gave in after realizing all accessories are white and the added cost. Now I got two 360's and my Wii is white too.
