Hi
I'm having trouble deciding which model to buy.
I know I want a Panasonic Plasma 1080p either the 46 or 50 inch. It would be nice to have a pc input but not mandatory.
I liked the PZ85U and above but now I see the new TC series coming in and am all confused whether to go for the PZ or get a newer one.
Please let me know your thoughts and if possible suggest models and price ranges I can shoot for.
Thanks.

What is your budget? Costco had sales on PZ85U recently. Do you have Costco membership?

just fyi-
If you're considering mounting the tv, monoprice is great for mounts and cables, and it's not really that hard to get it up on the wall. You will want a reasonably athletic assistant for about 5 minutes of the process (50" tvs are pretty heavy), a studfinder, and probably a drill. Also, I would avoid the fancier mounts that tilt and telescope, because they can potentially "droop". Low-pro looks great, and plasmas are viewable from almost 180 degrees anyway. Finally, if you plan on hiding the wires in the wall, doing anything except putting them straight down means you have to at least kind of know what you're doing.

Thanks for the info thelnel52.
I live in a rental apt, so I'll just place it on a TV stand. If you know of a good place to buy those, let me know.
I've shopped from monoprice for my Home theater setup. I like them a lot. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have the 46 panny pz85u from costco.. i bought it about a month ago for about 1,000.. its my first flat screen hdtv so i love it ( i have had a hdtv crt).
I have a stand that i bought from target that was 130 on sale and regular price was about 200 (i have a raincheck left if you want it).. I used that until i had my tv mounted over the fireplace.. I bought three 15ft hdmi, 1 12ft composite and a tilting wall mount from monoprice.. I paid around 100 for all that. I then found a person on craiglist who hangs tvs and i paid him 130 to mount and hide wires in the wall..
only thing i dont like about my tv is that the third hdmi input is on the front of the tv.. but overall i like it so far.. and since costco has 90 day return policy, i will just return it if i find a better deal.
