Used Nikon 18-200 Lens for $550.. Good deal?

Hi all,

So I'm able to buy a used Nikkor 18-200 for $550 from a friend. He claims its pretty much new with al lthe warranty papers and what not. Anyhow, is this a good deal? The reason why I ask is that I recently bought a D80 w/ 18-55 VR and 55-200 VR kit lenses. Will it be worth it to buy the 18-200 at that price?

Since you have the 18-55 and 55-200 I would not suggest that (unless you have lot of money to send:yummy: ).

I would rather go for a prime lens (like 50 mm 18.d for about 130) and get a wide angel lens.
