I'm about to make my annual trip to Vegas and I have compiled a spreadsheet of all the coupons available in the American Casino Guide (http://americancasinoguide.com/2009-coupon-list.shtml) in order to maximize my slickvegasing.
I have arranged the list geographically (as if one were walking/driving from casino to casino.)
I would appreciate if anyone "in the know" could assist me with more locations or more coupons to be had, especially those for MatchPlay/FreePlay or those NOT found in the guide.
I have been checking our Vegas threads, but almost nothing was said about the free money & buffets, which is the only thing I'm interested in.
I plan to visit 27 casinos, buy $26 worth of coupons (for two people). Assuming a house edge of 2% on even money bets & 50% edge on slot play, that will net us a profit over $350 for 10 hours of work. It didn't work out for me to get the LVA book as well, which would have increased my profit by $300 without increasing the hours of work.
Please enjoy!
OP's VEGAS BLOG - how everything went when redeeming these coupons. (http://vegasonadime.blogspot.com/)
Note - The spreadsheet got too large for an attachment, so I made my changes to the google spreadsheet.
Highlights:
Hard Rock - $10 matchplay + $10 slot play
Rampart - $20 matchplay
Imperial Palace - $40 free slot play for hotel guests (http://www.imperialpalace.com/PackageSearch.do?showAll=Y&marketCode=NMM)
El Cortez - $10 slot play + 1/2 off at Steakhouse
Riviera - Buy $20, Get $40 (http://slickdeals.net/?sdtid=1288629&u2=http://vegas4locals.com/couponriviera.html)
Arizona Charlies's Decatur- $100 Back if you lose for new players (http://www.arizonacharliesdecatur.com/100Guarantee.asp)
WIN Cards and free chips at The Palms Now offering WIN CARDS, featuring handy plastic dial cards, with simplified instructions for learning the basics of how to play Blackjack, Craps and Roulette, available for $20 per set. Those who buy a set of WIN CARDS receive $30 in FREE-play, non-negotiable chips. These chips stay up until actually lost. There is a strict limit on this exclusive offer of one per person, every six months.
Free play offers for new members not included in total $: I didn't include these because, unlike matchplay or even regular slotplay, your chance of making money of this is slim to nil.
$200 freeplay at Hooters - only pays if you hit a jackpot
$50 freeplay at Casino Royale- only pays if you hit a jackpot
You can get the guide for about $10 + Shipping (http://search.a1books.com/cgi-bin/mktSearch?act=showDesc&code=gbase&rel=1&ITEM_CODE=1883768187), from various sources or $12.89 + FSSS on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/American-Casino-Guide-Steve-Bourie/dp/1883768187/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1239301896&sr=8-1).
VEGAS HOTELS WITH A BUSINESS CENTER (http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotels-g45963-zfa8-Las_Vegas_Nevada-Hotels.html) (for coupon printing on the fly)
You can buy an additional coupon book from Las Vegas Advisor for $37 (http://lasvegasadvisor.com/whyjoin-mrbdetails.cfm), which includes even more gambling coupons (as well as dozens of other coupons). For procrastinators (like me!) this can be picked up in Vegas, and saves you the cost of shipping. Keep in mind you can only pick them up MONDAY - FRIDAY during business hours. Limit 1 per person, 2 per household.
Matchplay is for table games:
Ex.
I bet $10 on RED in roulette, the casino gives me a $10 Matchplay (so, effectively, I am betting $20.) If I win, I get $20, so a $30 payout on a $10 even money bet.
Slot Play is free money to put in the slot machine. To maximize this, here is what you do.
$10 free slot play - Find a machine you like that is, say $2 per spin max bet. Put in your free slot play. Click max bet 5 times. Click cashout. Anything that cashes out is yours.
$45 in free slot play at Venetian. You have to do a little work to get it, but it's well worth it. If you're not already signed up for their slot club, sign up online and you will get $15 in free play. Use the coupon in American Casino Guide for an additional $15. There's also a coupon in American Casino Guide for a coupon book at the Venetian shops. You have to go to the Las Vegas Store in the shopping area to get it. There's another $15 coupon for free slot play in there. Use all three and that adds up to $45.

Thanks! I updated the total to reflect this and added it to the Spreadsheet. Hopefully, I'll have this sucker done by the time we leave for Vegas (4/23) and then it will be on SD for posterity to print it and slickvegas :)
Thanks to all my slickdealers, my total went from $385 in matchplays to $1061 + $200. You guys rock.

LOL - I've already hit every "New Member" deal on the East Coast, sorry that's too far too. Just as an FYI - here are some nice highlights -
$100 Free Slot Dollars @ Trump Atlantic City($50 after 30 min slot play first visit, another $50 deposited 3 days laters.) Just say you saw the billboard.
$100 Free Slot Dollars @ Delaware Park (Newark,DE). ($50 after 30 min slot play first visit, another $50 deposited 3 days laters.) Just say you saw the billboard.
FREE Sun-Thur Room for 30 min. play at Tropicana Atlantic City. You can also sign up for their online "fun" casino and they'll give you a coupon for the same deal, no play necessary.

You sir, are a saint for sin city! This is probably one of the best uses of time that I have ever seen. I hope you did this during work hours. :lmao: I have just found new motivation to stay awake at work.
I'm going to vegas for a bachelor party that I'm actually planning and since almost everyone is either a student or between jobs, this is as good as gold. You're the BEST!
If I can find anything worth adding to your spreadsheet, I'll post. Perhaps this would be useful posted into google docs?

I believe Golden Gate has 99 cent shrimp cocktail if you sign up for their player's club. Might want to double check on that.
Thanks for putting the spreadsheet together. What does the yellow color coding mean?

I coded Yellow for the American Casino Guide, Green for Casino Offers & Pink for LVA coupons. There are actually lots of $.99 shrimp cocktails (check out cheapovegas.com for a list). My fave is Slots-O-Fun because it's right on the North Strip where I love to gamble.

So are these deals only available by purchasing the ACG? We are flying to Vegas on the 24th and staying for a week, so I'd love some free deals.
Also, anyone know of any cheap mini van rentals? Going with the family, so we need some extra room.
Oh, and sorry for a few stupid questions (never been to Las Vegas before), but does "match play" mean that if you spend $20, they give you $20? How is that tracked? And how do you receive free slot plays? Do you just present the coupon and the give you a slot voucher or something? Just want to be sure I understand this before I purchase the guide. Thanks in advance.

Hey! We'll be there at the same time! :) Always go with priceline for rentals in Vegas. You can get a van for probably $20 a day.
Most of them (yellow on spreadsheet) are w/ purchase of ACG. You should buy one for everyone in your party. A $13 investment that will be paid back by only one trip to the Hard Rock or Rampart seems no brainer to me.

keep in mind many of the "free" slot machines coupon money has stipulation that you only get winnings if it's jackpot. since that never happens it's just like playing for fun. I won over $3000 on mine only to realize this :( At least it was air conditioned and didn't smell like cigarettes where I was.

Ok... I am not a person who lives in the finer dining establishments... but I had to go to Vegas on a sold out weekend and stayed only one night at this place and ran... If someone took it over and did a major renovation it could be a great hotel but as it is... run I say run... and i think some of the shrimp off that cocktail order did run off as well...
For those people who haven't been to Vegas before and think that Freemont Street would be real cool... don't waste your time.... the bathrooms at Bellagio are more interesting and you aren't afraid of getting home safely...

Oh no, of course drinks are free when you're gambling. But, if you're on a coupon run, you would have to find a waitress during the five minutes you're actually gambling. It's much better to just hand over a nice coupon and get what you want. Plus, you can get any drink you like - whereas the casinos have restrictions and "low rollers" like myself can't even get real Red Bull, much less an absolut & tonic.

I was going to ask the same question. I have 4 casinos within an hour of me now, so Vegas is a nice vacation, but the free drinks certainly help make it cost effective.
Great job on the spreadsheet. I'll make sure I find that when we head back out.

I know Excaliber will give you $10 in game play if you show them a member card from a different casino and if you sign up for theirs.
Though their card membership is joined with other casino ones too, can't remember which.
Also at Excaliber they have a buffet deal going $25 all day buffet at the roundtable buffet restaurant upstairs. They give you a wrist band and you can go back anytime between like 9am - 10 pm I think.
I know Hooters was also offering some gambling money too, just can't remember how much.

Nice spread sheet. I just got back from Vegas - had all of my deals in a notebook. The people on the plane looked at me like I was crazy. Add to Ellis Island - $6.99 Filled cut sirloin (one of the best steaks I've ever had), green beans, potato, salad, bread and a free micro brew beer or rootbeer. Cheapest and best meal we had during our stay.
If you didn't eat at McDonalds, it was hard to get out for under $35 for two people at breakfast with tip. Restaurant.com has several GC's you can use for breakfast to get out for about $10 for 2 people at breakfast.
$100 Free slot play + coupon book at hooters - Must sign up for Owl Rewards and play on promo machines. Must bet max $10 and only pays if you get the jackpot or two other combination spins.
Have you already booked your flight? I have $20 in southwest credit that must be used by 4/23. Anyone need it? PM me.

To each his own. I'm not staying there but I love Fremont street and I go to Vegas about 3-4 times a year. I guess it depends on what is important to you. The strip is uber expensive for just about everything. If you get a good deal on something, you'll usually wipe it away on something else out of convenience. Like a few $5 bottles of water.
I certainly wouldn't want to steer somebody to a place they won't be happy but most people are on SD for a reason.

I'd have to agree. Plus, strip casinos pay 6:5 on blackjack, have crappy 2x & 3x odds on craps, and other various ways to screw the player. Go downtown, you can find $1 single deck blackjack, $1 100x odds craps, $.99 shrimp cocktails, Casinos that don't hit on soft 17, etc. etc.

Disclaimer: Please don't shoot me if I'm repeating info that is on another thread, but since I'm not posting a new thread I don't feel like searching for every item I mention...
I went to Las Vegas last January and used the American Casino Guide too. Well worth the money. I mapped out all of the locations I wanted to hit and other locations I was interested in. So I could figure out what was near to something else and utilize time better by combining trips. At the end of the trip I could of really used another suitcase for all the free stuff that I got. Handful of beads, 5 tshirts, 2 calendars, 5 packs of cards, sewing box, spoon rest, 2 hats, etc. Plus all of the free drinks I got from ACG (American Casino Guide)
You can take a look at my google map here. http://www.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=112918083954749579855.0004569b90c59c4380db9&ll=36.368222,-114.86618&spn=0.764103,1.040955&z=10
Plus I had a stack of coupons I printed out from online. Lots of free happy hours, free drinks, etc around the area.
If strip clubs are your thing, make sure to hit Treasures for free food buffet and drinks.
"Enjoy free Well Drinks and Domestic Beer from 4PM to 6PM, and 2-for-1 You-Call-Its and Premium Drinks from 4PM to 8PM, seven days a week at Treasures Gentlemen’s Club & Steakhouse. Hungry for more? Treasures has you covered with a complimentary Buffet Bar. "
If you are into the locals small scale strip clubs, Sam's Club has a coupon on their website for a free drink or entry. The Library has awesome happy hour specials. Like unlimited beer when you buy a mug and 2 for 1 lap dances. Varies by day. There is a free entry coupon to DejaVu online.
Lots of free wine tastings if wine is your thing.
This is only my opinion of course... I know I went to over 10 casinos when I was in Vegas. The one I cared for the least, was Hooters. Extremely tight slots (as well as the palms). They gave a really nice coupon book, but the restrictions were crazy and what you really got sucked. The free slot play was in a special tiny roped area that were $1 machines. No one was winning anything of course.
I really liked the Fremont Experience. It has a very old Vegas charm to it. Very loose slots, cruddy small casinos but they give you free stuff when you sign up for their clubs. And you make points really easy to get more free stuff. Yes Golden Gate gives you .99 cent shrimp cocktails when you are a member. I remember getting free slot play, a calendar of what downtown vegas was like back in the day, and a pack of cards. Plus I won money there. Across the street is Mermaids if you like $1 hotdogs, deep fried twinkies and deep fried oreos. (of course for a $1 too)
My little advice on rental car in Vegas: Find a decent rate and make a reservation. You don't have to put any money down if you do from the dealer and easy to cancel and not be fined. But then keep looking online for good deals. I kept checking sites like Travelocity, Orbitz, etc. They change constantly, good to take quick peek once a day if you are crazy like me. I kept checking till I was able to jump on a $9.95 per day deal. For 5 full days of a rental car after all charges it was under $100. Payless, Advantage, and Fox car rentals are the ghetto cheap rental places to check out for that area. Make sure to their sites, sometimes they don't show up on places like travelocity or they have special deals on their site.
Sorry if any of the information is old. But hope it might help guide someone to other deals.

I did that too and it does work. But only gave a $10, I didn't get a King size bed. I was by myself... but still. I like my room. lol. So I got a mini suite at the Stratosphere. Fridge, microwave, larger tub and separate sleeping area.

is paying $20 and getting $40 slot play considered $20 matchplay?
at the Riviera:
buy $20, get $40 slot play (http://vegas4locals.com/couponriviera.html)
I wouldn't waste your time with this. They use "special" machines and this marketing ploy has been going on for many, many years just to get you to come into the old, rundown Riviera.

While you're at the Imperial Palace check out the free Auto Musuem on the 5th or 6th floor of their parking garage. Its is filled with vintage cars and late model cars too. Most have an interesting history, like being owned by some despot or Liberace or celebrity. All are for sale with the prices on display. You can spend anywhere from 1$Million for a Duesenberg owned by a oil sheik or $16K for Sharon Stone's MGB. You can print 2 free tickets off thier web site or just walk into the casino and ask as the service desk for free tickets. No one should pay the $10 or so admission price. And they have a pretty cool gift/toy shop, espically if your a guy.

We like to drink and gamble a bit while in vegas. Free drinks are easy to get while gambling downtown. Pull up a seat at a barside slot and put some cash in, fill up on a few drinks while you play slowly, and just tip your bartender. I seem to have extrememly fast bar service at some of the downtown casinos, like 4 queens and vegas club among others. $5 in a slot, three drinks later, my wife and I are off for a bit until its time to recharge at the bar again. Whatever hotel you are at, walk up to the bar, put $5 in a machine, tip a $5 to the bartender and return to that bar for the duration of the trip. Drinks will flow free, and fast typically. IMO vegas is hard to navigate, and it is tiresome to try and use too many of these deals. I would split maybe strip to one day and downtown to another, and remember a .99 shrimp cocktail is just that. Im not a huge fan of all the free stuff as alot of it is useless, but then again, we have been many times over the past years and the attraction to the free dice, decks and etc have worn off.
I would NOT do the Riviera $20 promotion thing, you get a shirt, and the slots they let you play stink.
Rental cars- I have gotten a car for $8 a day with tax. First use kayak com weekends are cheap as there is no business travel. Hotwire and Priceline are excellent imo for cars also NOTE that if you rent a car, you have to take a trek to the car rental place no matter what. By the time you rented the car, you could have arrived at the strip by taxi. You must wait for the shuttle, take a 10 minute ride, prior to waiting in line at the rental car building. Then you walk to your car which could be way way in the back depending on which company you rented with.
I love cheapovegas dot com, and agree with MOST of their reviews.
Last tidbit is to be sure and sign up for the harrahs total reward card at one of their casinos. VERY limited play on their card, gets you comp rooms next time very very easily.

If you didn't eat at McDonalds, it was hard to get out for under $35 for two people at breakfast with tip. Restaurant.com has several GC's you can use for breakfast to get out for about $10 for 2 people at breakfast.
The Orleanes is off the strip but offers a pretty good breakfast buffet and we paid under 10bucks a person-don't remember the exact because husband always pays.

I was just there 6 weeks ago. You get on the tram a few yards PAST the taxi stand. Its a 4 MILE ride on a shuttle. The rental car center is south of 215. It is about 30 minutes to get to your car, in which time a taxi could have had you to the strip already. Maybe you are remembering a different trip?

Wow!
What a great thread. Kudos to everyone! My .02 about Fremont Street. Golden Nugget may be the "nicest" place to stay downtown. Binion's Horseshoe is the best place to gamble in all of Vegas - in my opinion. Most professional dealers. Best odds. A real gambling hall. Used to have a really good $1.99 steak dinner as well (yes a "good" staek for 1.99), but it sounds like it's gone for now.
Hope everybody has a good time. Thanks for all the great info:worship:

Kudos, the research and knowledge is great..I use to live in Vegas of course things change over time but I went to the horseshoe there when I first got to Vegas and took a pic with 1 million dollars in an enclosed glass case with horseshoe frame. They had penny slots etc. there..use to get free pack of cigerretts and drink all you want as long as you were playing at some of the casinos. But after that first visit and I was 17 and went back one more time when I was 21...see this spot was great for us then..but have money will travel and stay on the main strip..and yes Bellagio's is my spot when I go now.
The two areas are totally different no comparison...go girl...and have fun:D :woot:

I've got a spreadsheet full of Las Vegas Advisor deals separated by casino, too, if you'd like it. I'll post it when I get home. That book's $37 but it's well worth it if you'll be doing anything at the Palms, since there's a 50% off up to $50 coupon in there.

My wife says the same thing, she didnt think the rental deal was that bad. Maybe Im just impatient but Id rather be gambling drinking or whatever rather than taking that darn tram and waiting for an agent to get your paper work straight. I assume if your going to multiple locations a car is a must but for those that plan on staying a while in the same place my preference would be a taxi. If you do take your car valet that thing unless you like wandering the labyrinth between the casino and parking garage.
On another note, if Allegiant air flies from a city near you, they have some great rates, been mentioned here before. Our trip in Feb cost $145 for both of us after tax. Our trip next week is $180 after taxes for both. Mix it in with a comp room from harrahs TR card, and its a very cheap vacation.

Well, I'm about to make my annual trip to Vegas and I have compiled a spreadsheet of all the coupons available in the American Casino Guide (http://americancasinoguide.com/2009-coupon-list.shtml) in order to maximize my slickvegasing.
Please enjoy!
Highlights:
Hard Rock - $10 matchplay + $10 slot play
Rampart - $20 matchplay
Imperial Palace - $40 free slot play for hotel guests (http://www.imperialpalace.com/PackageSearch.do?showAll=Y&marketCode=NMM)

Not sure if it can be done in time to help you, OP, but sign up for the lasvegasadvisor.com newsletter for $50 hard copies or $37 online only and get a pretty sweet set of coupons, over $250 in matchplay alone. Although some of the casinos might be tough to get to . . .
http://lasvegasadvisor.com/whyjoin-mrb2009.cfm
Beware nightclub coupons, especially those that offer VIP status, or say you can skip the line. They usually have some sort of catch all disclaimer allowing the door-thug to deny it, and (not you, OP) if you show up with the rest of the Sausage Brigade on a crowded weekend night, that's exactly what will happen, Those coupons are most likely to be accepted on a night when you won't need it.
Second the previous post about Harrahs and comps. I've given Harrahs no play in vegas, but in about 4 trips to AC in the past 6 months have lost about $800 total to them (mostly Blackjack at $10-20 average bet, and found I was comped 5 consecutive nights in Vegas at either Imperial Palace, Flamingo, Rio, Harrahs, Ballys, Caesars or Paris.

I added all the coupons from the Las Vegas Advisor to the list. There are $310 coupons from the $12 ACG, and $350 coupons in the $37 LVA, HOWEVER, there are better (larger value) coupons in the LVA for some casinos, including $50 off comp @ Palms and $50 @ Planet Hollywood, that make it a good value as well.

AC only gives you top shelf if you have a platinum or high player's card. Has been this way for about 2 years. However, if you ORDER Grey Goose, they will bring you regular vodka and not tell you. Ew! :vomit:

Well perhaps that has been the case then, as don't have a platinum (or titanium or any of those higher rankings) card. I guess they give JW Red instea of Black and rail vodka instead of Goose. I mean do they at least have mid-shelf like Stoli or is it complete garbage? I think our whole strategy is to get liquored up at the craps tables before we go out to clubs every night.

There is a deal at Arizona Charlie's (about 10 minutes off the North end off The Strip) where they give a $100 rebate for new slot club members. When I did this, there were no restrictions, you simply signed up, played until you either won, or lost $100 (no reason to lose any less) went to the slot club booth, and they gave you back your $100. They still have this offer, but there is a play restriction now and they don't give the exact details on their site. Still the only true $100 free slot play offer I've seen for new slot club members.

I have ordered top shelf at Harrahs casinos and they never gave us a hard time. I usually go to Harrah's and Borgata if I'm going to that end or Trump Taj and Caesar's at the other end. Only place that has ever told me they didn't have Goose was Borgata who said they had Ketel One. I've had JW Black at all these places as well. Again, I guess they could have been giving me cheaper liquor and I didn't know but the cocktail waitresses never ask for a card, they just come by the tables, take orders, then come back with your drinks a few minutes later and you give them a tip.

I played in the WSOP at Caesar's three weeks ago. I was there for 13 hours, so believe me, I got in some conversation with the waitresses. I was told specifically that they can only give alcohol over $8 to Seven Stars Members. Also, only Diamond+ can get "real" Red Bull. A $10 tip took care of this restriction, but I was told this by several waitresses and discussed it at length with a couple of dealers. The waitress told me they are trained to bring the rail liquor no matter what the person orders, based on what the table level is (low limit=rail liquor) or the player's card.
This does not apply at Borgata. I practically live on their strawberry mojitos. mmmm..

Yea well I never play poker at casinos so I think that may also be it. Poker is not nearly as lucrative for casinos as table games, as they only make the rake. I don't care about Red Bull as I think that stuff is crap anyway but yea, perhaps they are stiffing people on the liquor and just not telling them. I'm just a little surprised as they never have even asked me for my card when I order but that makes sense with what you said in terms of the table limit; I usually play at $10 and no more than $25 minimum tables.

I've noticed at the $25 BJ tables, I can get usually convince them to bring the good stuff, so I guess it proves what those other waitresses told me.
$10 BJ, I've actually had them TELL me they can't bring high end.

Binions does a $10 match play that includes table games. So if you go in with someone else and both get $20, walk over to the roulette table, play against each other b/r or o/e you are almost guaranteed walking away with a $20 profit (unless it hits green, and if your luck is that bad you should go home)

I'm heading to Vegas next Thursday, first trip ever to Vegas. My wife is heading out this Sunday for work and will be staying at the The Hotel by Mandalay Bay, then I'll meet her Thursday. We're spending the rest of the time on our budget and will be in the Monte Carlo for 4 nights. We are really wanting to stay within walking distance of the hotel. We got 2 free tickets to see KA Saturday night and we'll hit some of the casino's, other than that it's up in the air. For those that are familiar with Vegas, what would be my best value for food and entertainment on that side of the strip? Coupon books?

The LVA coupon book can be paid for online and picked up in person (saves the shipping fee, too.)
Mandalay Bay has my favorite Strip Blackjack - They have 2 tables where the dealer does NOT hit on a soft 17. GL!

Arizona Charlie's is out in the middle of nowhere, but it's worth a visit if you want to play with free $$$. You must be a new member. You spend $100 and if you lose your $, you go to the cashier's booth and they will give you your $100 back. If you win money then you keep it. I lost my $100 and had to have it refunded. My husband won $1000 on the slots.
I just reread their ad and can't tell 100% if it's the same promotion we did. This ad says that they will reimburse your slot play. When we were there, that meant handing you your $100 in cash back, not more slot play money. It's still a good deal either way.
I think they have 2 locations. Here's the link. http://www.arizonacharliesdecatur.com/100Guarantee.asp

Thanks and reps to zohyeahz for starting this thread. Going to Vegas next week, so you just saved me a bunch of time!
In searching around, I ran across this link (http://www.lasvegasgamblingedge.com/Free_Funbooks.html) that shows the funbooks/ handouts casinos give for joining their players/slots clubs. Consider it my contribution to the thread!

Can somebody explain win cards to me?
Here's what I could find courtesy of Gaming Ore at chiptalk.net (http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/chip-release-announcements/43304-luxor-las-vegas-nv-5-ncv-win-cards-chips.html):
The Luxor Hotel & Casino is now a participant in the Win Cards Program of Gaming International. Available in a package of 6, the Win Cards "5 NCV" (No Cash Value) chips are a creme yellow, gold hot-stamp, in a unicorn mold.
As a brief reminder, the Win Cards Program is a gaming incentive for newer players. The 5 NCV chips are used as a bet (usually a $10 bet) on even money games and if you win, the NCV's are replaced with live action chips. If you lose, the NCV's are lost.
The package includes betting advice cards for roulette, blackjack and craps, hence the overall name, Win Cards. The cards, a brochure, a dealer tip coupon and 6, 5-NCV chips are bought for $20 by visiting the slot club promotion booth and signing up for the program. They give you a voucher that you take to the main cage and $10, plus the voucher will yield the package.
Typically, a Win Cards Program will run for about two years and at the Luxor you can go back every 6 months for an additional package. (Some places only allow returns once a year, some never, and others monthly!)
Basically you get 6 NCV chips (worth $30), advice cards for roulette/blackjack/craps and a dealer tip coupon for $20. It appears that Circus Circus, Excalibur, Four Queens, Luxor, Mandalay Bay and the Palms participate in the Win Cards program. I think I may have to try this out myself!

Binions does a $10 match play that includes table games. So if you go in with someone else and both get $20, walk over to the roulette table, play against each other b/r or o/e you are almost guaranteed walking away with a $20 profit (unless it hits green, and if your luck is that bad you should go home)
Better yet you can go over to craps and put one on pass and the other on don't pass with a $1 hedge bet on double sixes for a no risk return of at least $9.
If you only have one matchplay there is also ways to guarantee a return with zero risk.
The biggest problem with this strategy is some pitbosses will not let you do a hedge bet on matchplays.

I plan to visit 25 casinos, buy $100 worth of coupons (for two people). Assuming a house edge of 2% on even money bets, that will net us a profit of $713 for 10 1/2 hours of work.
Please enjoy!
Highlights:
Hard Rock - $10 matchplay + $10 slot play
Rampart - $20 matchplay
Imperial Palace - $40 free slot play for hotel guests (http://www.imperialpalace.com/PackageSearch.do?showAll=Y&marketCode=NMM)
El Cortez - $10 slot play + 1/2 off at Steakhouse
Riviera - Buy $20, Get $40 (http://slickdeals.net/?sdtid=1288629&u2=http://vegas4locals.com/couponriviera.html)
Arizona Charlies's Decatur- $100 Back if you lose for new players (http://www.arizonacharliesdecatur.com/100Guarantee.asp)
Free play offers for new members not included in total $:
$100 freeplay at Hooters - only pays if you hit a jackpot
$100 freeplay at Imperial Palace - only pays if you hit a jackpot
 There are some legitimate deals, but most of the free slot play these days is at a specific row of machines designed to pay little or nothing. They just want your info to sell to everyone else. I just got back from Vegas and they are hurting so bad that some of the casinos have changed the Blacjack table rules. Some casinos now only pay 6 to 5 on blackjacks instead of the normal 3 to 2. This means on a 10 dollar bet you only get 1 dollars instead of three if you get a blackjack. Another casino changed to only allow a player to double down on 10 or 11. This means if the dealer shows a 6 and you have a nine, you cant double down. Just make sure you check before you play. Good Luck!

Don't forget to take advantage of "Win Card Promotions" at some casinos.
I've done this coupon run thing about 8 times. I last visited Vegas over a year ago but I had the casino coupon run thing down to a T. Three of us made over $3000 combined over 9 days, using the coupons discussed in this thread.
Win cards are where you buy 10 dollars in promotional casino chips for $15. They have been available recently at Luxor, The Cannery, Sunset Station, 4 Queens, Excaluber, Circus Circus, and maybe a few others I forgot about.
The Westin and the Tuscany casinos have good sign up deals for more matchplays and free slot play. They are located about a block east of the Flamingo.
Also, before you go, be sure to trade your buffet coupons for more ACG and POV matchplays in this forum, http://www.openvegas.com/vegas/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=8

If you go to the Fashion Show Mall, or the Grand Canal Shoppes, you can pick up a Premier Passport savings book from the concierge. There is a $10.00 free slot play coupon for the Venetian or Palazzo. It was supposed to be for new members but they did not list that on the coupon, so they are honoring it.

I gave some good deals in my post a couple pages back. But to clarify for people who can't read long posts...
Treasures probably has the best deal. High class fancy schmancy strip club. Can't beat $1 drinks and free food. http://www.treasureslasvegas.com/las%20vegas%20strip%20club/happy%20hour.html
$1 Well Drinks and Domestic Beer from 4PM to 6PM (used to be totally free.)
2-for-1 You-Call-Its and Premium Drinks from 4PM to 8PM
Complimentary Buffet Bar
Seven days a week at Treasures Gentlemen’s Club & Steakhouse.
Play it Again Sam's Club has a coupon their website for free cover. Small locals type strip club. http://www.playitagainsams.com/coupons.htm
The Library has wonderful happy hour deals. http://www.librarytoplesslv.com/specials/index.htm
The bottomless mug of beer for only $20.
Friday and Saturday their happy hour is 2 PM - 7 PM: $3 beer, $3.50 well drinks,
and $10 lap dances (awesome deal on the lappies. Going rate is usually $20 at most clubs).
And if you want a coupon for Deja Vu pm me and I can forward you a copy. I had no problem using it when I went. 18+ please.
2 things to remember about strip clubs in Vegas.
1, There is no full nudity clubs with alcohol. Most are just topless. EXCEPT The Palamino. But that place really sucks and it is very overpriced.
2. Quite a few of the strip clubs don't let women in unless they are escorted by a guy. *eyeroll* I had to get special permission from owners to be able to go inside. Only Deja Vu didn't bat an eye and I actually felt really welcomed.

Well I'm a girl... And the friend I was with is a girl. And we wanted to go to as many strip clubs as we could when we were there. The problem was that I didn't know how strict they were on having a male escort. Portland, the strip club capitol of the world is pretty much half female, half male that go in most the strip clubs. I was able to hit 20 different ones in one weekend.

I had the same issue in Miami, but have NEVER encountered the problem in Texas or Virginia. It's strange to me. We solved it be convincing one of the male strippers at one of the clubs to escort us all night :P

That is so weird. The two places that are known as a city of sin and they don't like women to go into strip clubs by themselves. lol I buy drinks, I tip the working girls. It isn't like they don't make money off of me. One place in Vegas owner had to come out, he looked me and my friend up and down (maybe to determine if we were hookers. lol) Then he let us in. We ended up hanging out there from midnight till 5am, because one of the strippers was from Seattle also. So between her shifts she just sat at our table talking about Seattle. And then one of the bouncers was from the Seattle area too, so he ended up sitting with us too. Ended up being tons of fun.

I rent from National in Vegas and you still have to take the tram, buth then you just walk to the garage and pick a car. No standing in those annoying lines and you get to pick what you want. Hate to rent from anyone else anymore.

Great Job and repped! We go every year over Thanksgiving and I was going to start this same exercise in the next month or two. Thanks for saving me all the time and effort.
Just one reality-check -- Your total dollars includes all the match play. You have to wager your own money for this, and I really don't think you can count on a 2% house edge when you play a single hand.
But the best of luck and be sure to be sure to post how your trip worked out!

Well, for me, I will be playing with a partner. So, if I play all of my matchplays on Craps - this is how it will go -
$10 Matchplay
$10 + $10 bet on Pass
$10 + $10 bet on Don't Pass
$1 bet on 12
If 7 or 11 - I risk $21, win $30 - $9 profit
If 12 - I risk $21, win $40 - $19 profit
If any other number - I risk $21, win $30 - $19 profit
I just bought two of each book.
Also, several coupons are for slot play. Generally, this involves no OOP - you just play the free money. So, technically, you wouldn't need your own money if you used your slot play winnings to bankroll your matchplays.

Your math is wrong.
First, any other number and then 7 is risk $21, win $30 - $9 profit, not $19.
Second, 12 is 30 to 1, not 40 to 1. You get a $9 profit there too.
Third, you're with a partner so you have to split your winnings. If you're saying you don't because you bought both books, you still need to cut the "book value" of the match play in half.

This is an LV thread, not an AC thread, but I'll answer anyway. Yes, its pretty much that easy but the room is for a future stay. You get a postcard a few weeks later. If its anything like the Harrahs free rooms, though, you will be responsible for about $12 in taxes and fees.

There is also ways to play hedge bets solo.
Eg.
$10+$10 matchplay on pass
$15 on Don't Pass
$1 on 12
Inital Outlay $26
Win on Pass - $30
Win on Don't Pass - $30
Win on 12 - $32
So the you will profit a minimum of $4 risk free per matchplay
The Pass line on Craps is the best play for an "Even Money" match play with an EV of 48% of face value.
BTW: The best EV you can get is paying the matchplay on a single number in roulette at 87-92% of face value.

As I am arriving on a Friday evening, and playing through Monday night, I have decided to forgo the book (after all that work!) HTH
So the $37 membership does not give you the actual book or a way to print the same coupons? I thought you could print the same coupons, but I really haven't researched this well yet.

PM me.
How do i find out more about the Ellis Island deal on the steak?! yum yum, making my mouth water....

It's not always on the menu (they have it there during lunch and on weeknights, but it's mysteriously missing on weekends and holidays.) However, it's always available. Just say "I'll take the steak special"

$37 membership is online membership & an actual book. You can pay $3.50 to have the book shipped to you in 7-10 days, or you can pick it up in Vegas during business hours. Online membership also gives you access to some additional discounts (not as good as what's in the book).
zoe you forgot the unlimited drinks for 2 for 1 hours at ellis! ill be using that one first + the other 4 free drinks from acg. i plan to be pretty messedup by the time i stumble back to the strip
One caveat on the four free drinks coupon - you have to get ALL FOUR drinks at once. Great if you're with a group. You buy a "round" at a time. If not, you can go for 2 bottled waters (put them away for later) and 2 drinks at a time. HTH!

I don't think I would have signed up online. Most of the deals are for "new players" only and they may not consider you new if you've already signed up.

I am just wondering, I noticed alot of the coupons found in guides state "for new slot club members." I have read on other sites that sometimes when you buy these books, that the coupons offered are coupons that you could have gotten yourself for free, simply by joining that casino's player's club. Anyone have any experience with this? Also, if you buy the coupon book, can you also use coupons from the casino's player's club, or is it an either/or thing?

I'm going to Vegas May 20th-24th and plan to buy both the ACG and LVA coupon things and use as many match plays as possible. I'm staying downtown so I plan to go to the the off strip casinos first and then I'll save the others for when I'm on Fremont street later in the week.
OP has helped me a lot. In another thread I was able to get a room at the Golden Gate for $1.50 for two nights. Bringing my total for 4 nights that includes the weekend (2 at GG and 2 at the Plaza) for $70!!

Golden Gate was lovely by the way. Ask for a room on the fourth floor, as those rooms are larger. I was in a small room on the third floor. I mean, really small. HOWEVER, the bed was a super plush pillow top, there were cute art deco lamps, an i-home with some nice nature sounds by the bed, neutragena toiletries, gourmet coffee and a huge flat screen tv. The shower stall was original from the 1906 building (with some improvements circa 1930 and several refreshes.) I don't like the grout in tile floors, so I wore flip flops in the shower. The shower head was quite short. I am 5'7" and I had to bend down a little to wet my hair. The towels were threadbare and scratchy. In all, it was much nicer than your typical Super 8/Rodeway Inn. I'd say a solid 3 star experience.
Oh yeah, and if you miss out on the AWESOME 99 cent shrimp cocktail (over 25 million sold at this location!) you're a complete fool.

Thanks for the Golden Gate review. When i originally booked my room for the Plaza back in February, it seemed like the Plaza was the nicer place and cost a few extra bucks. Now after reading recent reviews of the Golden Gate and the Plaza, it sounds like I should've stayed at the GG all 4 nights. When I booked my room at the Plaza, GG was going for $19.06 a night even on weekends. I could've had 4 nights for ~$40 w/ the Expedia deal you posted!

Don't forget the Silverton. If you join the player's club at the Silverton, they give you a voucher for a free room that can be used right away (based on availability.) Also, if you're a slot player - the Venetian offers a free room to any new player earning 1000 points ($1000 coin-in) in slots. A typical $1 slot player can do this in a day.

Have you or anyone else done the Arizona Charlies thing? I'm thinking of spending my whole Thursday doing coupon runs and I was going to start at Arizona Charlies doing the $100 thing. I'm just curious if it is a hassle or if there are any limits. I guess I could always call!
Then on the WIN cards thing. Do I need to do anything up front or do you just go to each casino and ask for them at the player's club desk?

The casinos have everything you need for the WIN cards.
As for AC - I've heard that if you lose $100, you get $100 slotplay (pretty easy to turn this into real cash if you max bet a slot with $5 a roll, just click 20 times. In most cases, you'll get most of the money back.) Some have reported when they first did this promotion that they got actual cash. YMMV

wow... this thread has inspired me to go to vegas... but the problem with coupon runs is getting companions who are actually up for coupon runs... non-slickdealers can easily get frustrated with the hit and run strategy...
any tips on what are the best games to play to max match play or free slots?
from reading the thread/blogs... seems like
for match play: pass line at craps or the combo pass/no pass if allowed
red/black at roulette
blackjack tables
if casino gives you 30dollars match play, would you go all 30 in one go or spread it out (especially at places with like 3 dollar blackjack tables)
what about for slots?
video poker machines? blackjack machines? video roulette??

When you buy it in Vegas, it usually ranges from $14 - $19. Not a HUGE difference, but just of note.

Most places it is UP TO whatever amount so to get the most benefit, you have to do it all at once. Not so with the WIN cards - you can gamble those however you like.

I am going to Vegas early June for my wedding anniversary ..
I saw that the LVA book has a T-Bones ( at Red Rock) 50% off or BOGO Q ... I actually planned to have my anniversary dinner there.
Do you need to have the LVA book with you or carry a card to prove you bought the book ...

They do coupon trading on openvegas.com. Actually, I'm not sure whether you need the book for LVA - like you said it was a card for ACG, but I was only asked for it once - at Golden Gate - for a $1 coupon. Go figure.

Most of the coupons have December expirations. You could maybe save some money buying in August, as they probably discount them closer to the expiration dates.

Cab would DEFINITELY negate the winnings. The first time I went to Vegas, we stayed at the Bellagio and did not rent a car. After three days, I had spent $108 on cab fare and I barely went anywhere! I rented my car for $10 a day in Vegas (thanks to priceline - you can too). Definitely rent a car. Plus, if you decide to make the haul out to Primm like I do, you can get $20 gas for free, which pretty much set me for the whole trip. Before returning the rental, I put $9 in it to fill it the rest of the way.
Why rent a car? How far are you going? You can take the Deuce downtown ($7/day, $15/3 days) or the strip.

Ok, well, you can spend your whole trip waiting at bus stops and I'll spend the extra $3 a day to rent a car. Plus, there are lots of places on the list that the bus does not go to.

Priceline is usually Hertz. I did it through Alamo with a coupon code.

I have no interest in the other Q's because as the previous poster wrote - I am traveling w./ someone who doesn't care to understand the coupon thing in Vegas . ANd might leave me if I start couponing in Vegas
If I don't need to carry the book with me ( American Casino guide required that - - it was a PITA) I'd love to trade somone for the Q.. I have grocery Q's for trade - all the recent inserts and a few free Q's for food. Or let me know what you want for the coupon - PROVIDING that I can just use it and don't need books or ID cards...
You guys and Slick deals so rock !!
Let me know ,,
You need to have the book in hand. No worries though, the LVA book is very small. Less than half the size of the ACG, and the coupons are easier to rip out.
Check eBay for the size of the books. You'll see a few auctions here and there of people selling both books at a time. In the pics, you get an idea.

wow... this thread has inspired me to go to vegas... but the problem with coupon runs is getting companions who are actually up for coupon runs... non-slickdealers can easily get frustrated with the hit and run strategy...
any tips on what are the best games to play to max match play or free slots?
from reading the thread/blogs... seems like
for match play: pass line at craps or the combo pass/no pass if allowed
red/black at roulette
blackjack tables
if casino gives you 30dollars match play, would you go all 30 in one go or spread it out (especially at places with like 3 dollar blackjack tables)
what about for slots?
video poker machines? blackjack machines? video roulette??
if you know basic strategy, the best game to maximize your free play dollar value is Video Poker. You can learn the strategy with the app found here http://www.zamzone.com/winpok6.asp
A match play MUST be played all at once. You can't mix/match a match play. They are played by placing the coupon in the betting area, along with the matching bet in $$ or chips. If you lose, your money, and the coupon goes away. If you win, you get money for your bet, and the coupon disappears, but you get money for the coupon as well.

Boy, blogging is hard work. Is anyone actually reading the thing? I have like 1 follower.
Thank you, OP. I anxiously awaited your return. And would check your blog daily for updates. I found your blog not just informative, but entertaining as well. Thanks!!
Question for anyone who knows- Do I have to carry the whole ACG book with me or just the card that comes in the book? I wanted to clip and seperate into envelopes by area, please let me know if that is okay.
To anyone who has used the LVA: Can you combine coupons from the LVA with coupons from the ACG? Do I need to carry the LVA book? At 3 times the price of the ACG, is it worth it?
Thanks in advance for you answers.

It really depends upon the casino. Some places want you to have the ACG book in hand, though most just ask for the card that is inside the book. Almost all casinos will require you to sign up for their players card before you can use a coupon from any of the books.
Combination of ACG and LVA coupons depends upon the casino. Most pit bosses won't let you use both coupons in the same betting session. A better bet might be to use one coupon, walk to the other side of the casino, and use the other (match plays). Most players club won't let you use one free slot play after another. Same for buffets, and 2for1 rooms.
In my opinion LVA is leaps and bounds better than ACG, not to mention the subscription to the Las Vegas Advisor that comes with it.
If you are planning to stay and play on the strip for your entire trip, I have a hard time recommending either book as most of the best deals are found off-strip.

I only used the bus one day (going downtown) and walked everywhere else and it didn't take much longer at all for the bus to get there vs driving. Downtown is one day. Obviously you did different but I like to do whatever deals are useful for my trip, not make special trips to different casinos just to use coupon, esp when they are not on the way to anywhere. So at least for some (like me), no point in spending $50 to save you $30.
Frankly, as a poker player, I'm having trouble seeing how just using all those matchplays and freeplays instead of hitting the tables is how I would want to spend my vacation. I'm shocked you didn't stop at Binions (sign up and get a card, play poker for an hour, get a free shirt) just for the history.

I did play in a tournament at Binion's - made a final table. I was not a new member there, so only promotion was your picture with $1 million. Like an idiot, I put it off to the last minute only to find out that the picture isn't ready for an hour. It wasn't pertinent to my story, so I think I left it out of the blog.
Never you fear, I made time for my poker :D

The only place that asked for my ACG card was golden gate, and that was only in the cafe. As for LVA - I have heard that you're not supposed to pre tear out the coupon as they could refuse to accept it if it is already torn out. Same for the coupon book at Stratosphere. YMMV on whether they're sticklers.
Fremont Street Experience Coupons: (http://www.vegascoupons.com/Fremont-Street-Coupons.pdf)
Club Binion's: Free Shirt wy earn 40 point
Four Queens: 2 for 1 entree at Magnolia's

Vegas Club/Plaza: $5 match play
Golden Gate: b1g1f shrimp cocktail
California Hotel: $10 off meal at Pasta Pirate
Main St Hotel: 2 for 1 buffet
Fremont Hotel: 2 for 1 buffet
FYI, I learned the hard way to make sure you have a sheet for every person in your party. I was the only one able to get a shot glass at Fitz and we could only get 1 free buffet for our group of 4 at Freemont because I only had one copy. Also, they didn't notice but some of those buffet coupons expired last month.

Most of those books are for groups/conventions. The ONLY way to get the Fremont Experience books is now online. I was pissed because I went to the little booth and there was a sign there but the coupons themselves say they came from the booth. Annoying because I wanted another shot glass

I was able to Print Screen and paste into paint. Took a little bit of ingenuity, but got it out looking almost as nice as if it had come right off the spreadsheet! :)
Also wanted to say thanks for all you did to get this compilation off the ground. I read your blog posts, and they gave me the little extra push I needed to actually do this for my own trip. I was on the fence about whether or not it would be worth it, but your posts made up my mind :)

You use the coupon as an "ace" in blackjack - instead of being dealt your first card. Effectively, it gives you a better chance of catching a blackjack. If you are a fan of couting, or play at a single deck table, you can really use that to your advantage.

When you hit print in Firefox, select "print background colors". I've also attached a PDF of the spreadsheet in case you have trouble printing from Firefox.

There's a place on Las Vegas Blvd near Planet Hollywood called something like "Half Off 2 Night" or something like that where they sell tickets for shows within the next 48 hours for half price. I hate planning things in Vegas anyway - so always worked out for us. I know someone who was able to secure front row tickets to Britney Spears 2 weeks ago for under $200. When he arrived, there were dozens of people with fake versions of his ticket, but his was the real deal. He said he felt bad for them, but the show was great.
I wouldn't get your hopes up on the Tix4Tonight booth having tickets to Jersey Boys. Its like the half price ticket booth on Broadway: its great if you don't care what you want to see but don't chance it if you want to see a specific show. Just get some discounted Jersey Boy tickets online (http://www.bestofvegas.com/Shows-Tickets/Jersey-Boys-Las-Vegas-Show-Palazzo/) and don't risk it.

SO I went to Vegas. May 18-21. I used some coupons in the ACG.
My best coupons were Free Coupon book at the lasvegasstore in the Ventian/Palazzo shopping area. This gives you a ton of other coupons just for that area but also another $15 for the Ventian. So I ended up with the ACG $15 plus the booklet $15 = $30 plus $15 for signing up online. Out of that $45 times 2 we ended up walking away with $90 in cash. Then another night we went to eat late (midnight) at the Grand Luxe Cafe. Directly across from that was a new Indiana Jones machine. Put it $10 walked away with $289! Woohoo.
I will post a few other tips BUT all in all we spent $200 that included taxi rides up and down strip about $120 worth, $50 cab to and from airport, drink tips I'd have to guess around $75 or more considering we drank alot - thinking about it there had to be more probably over $100 in tips and etc for drinks, and other misc things we paid cash for, and we gambled a ton in 4 days. We would have broke even but the hubby lost $200 the last day at TI craps table. So $200 for 4 days for everything was AWESOME thanks OP for the help.
Also for anyone going to Treasure Island I found a HOT SLOT MACHINE. It's across from the sirens cove shop. It's a one cent reels of dublin. I played that machine for hours and hours... I came out ahead about $300 on that machine over 4 days. Keep in mind I played 2 times = .60 cents per spin or 3 times = .90 cents per spin. BUT my hubby called it my machine. When he was getting ready I told him I'll meet you downstairs he said yeah you are going to your machine right? LOL
Also there is a Walgreens now right next to Ventian. I bought a ton of souvenirs from there. (2) Vegas bottle banks $9.99 each, tshirt for nephew $9.99 - spongebob it said only a face a mother could love then it said Las Vegas at the bottom, a puppy that held a heart that said someone that went to Las Vegas loves me and bought me this dog $9.99, (2) Vegas themed airplane neck pillows $9.99 each, (3) Las Vegas nail files .99 cents each, Vegas shorts $9.99, Vegas tye dye tshirt for juniors $14.99, Vegas chap stick $1.49. So all in all the Walgreens was a good place to stop at the beginning for a few bottles of water and the end for stuff to take home for cheap. Honestly it was all good quality too,

So thank for all the help in this post!
Also we used the Hooters $200 free play. It was a waste of time. It was a block of 30 machines you had to use. They were $5 machines the $200 went in 5-10 minutes and we won nothing. Both the hubby and I played. It seemed very scamish to me. Again my thought.
Also we did the Casino Royal $50 slot play and again it seemed very scamish. Only select machines and it was $1 machines and you had to max bet so $3 or maybe $2 per spin. It was gone in 5 minutes.
So my thought is do not go out of your way for either of these. If you are going to either anyway then use them but again do not go out of your way.
Also once you redeem the coupons they each give you another coupon book specifically for their casinos. If I remember correctly the only good ones in the hooters book was a $10 table matchplay.

Hi all, I'm headed to vegas on wednesday, but haven't done much planning yet. I have a few questions regarding the coupon deals:
1. Is American Casino Guide (ACG) or the Las Vegas Advisor coupons available to pickup in person anywhere in vegas? I obviously don't have any time to order them online and have them shipped to me. Also, what would I expect to pay in person vs. finding them at like a Borders/Barnes & Noble in a non-vegas location?
EDIT: I just found a post above that says ACG is available at Gambler's General Store - but where do I find LVA? I'll continue to search and add my result if I find it here.
2. I don't want to spend a lot of time bouncing between casinos. If you had to pick just a few deals to go after, which would you consider the best both (a) on the strip and (b) in old vegas/fremont street.
Thanks

it's the las vegas advisor's office. www.lasvegasadvisor.ccom You sign up and pay for the newsletter online, and when you checkout it asks if you want your coupon book mailed or want to pick it up at their office. It looks like this is the result of a reverse phone lookup, so probably this address:
Anthony Curtis
3665 Procyon St

But again, you buy online and then pick up once you reach Vegas. Not sure if they can process a walk up sale, but you can always call and ask.

Anyone been there recently? Could someone combine the $15 bonus for signing up online with the ACG coupon (which I also believe is $15)? I believe that one is for new sign-ups only...so I doubt they'd combine them and give someone $30 in play, but hey, it'd be sweet if they did!
