Hello all! Long time lurker here. I'm sorry for adding another thread on laptop recommendations, but the other recent posts didn't really touch on what I need.
My cousin came to me to help find her husband a gaming/entertainment laptop. I'm a PC gamer who has never had to purchase a laptop (but they are oh so tempting). I don't know as much about vendors, reliability, mobile hardware issues or any good deals that will be ongoing during Easter when she comes back.
Budget: anywhere up to $1800 (but the lower the better)
Graphics: best bang for the buck (will be gaming and watching HD) Since they plan to watch movies on it, a nice screen size/resolution would be desirable.
I don't think mobility is such a huge issue and I'm hoping they know not to expect great battery life with such a machine.
Any help is greatly appreciated. :worship:
