Yup...looking for a prom dress, and running out of sites to look at--any suggestions, reputable online sites, etc? Thanks a lot! (A picture of a dress style that I like is attached, in case you want to know)

David's bridal in your area? They *usually* have specials during prom season.

JC Penney has quite a few. You should be able to find a 15% off coupon in the paper or do a search on SD for jcp coupon info.

Yeah...I already checked out David's, and they didn't have much of a selection where I went, and JC Penney's online site didn't have any dresses I was interested in. :/ Instore it might be different, but I'm betting not much. I might check it out later, thanks anyway. Any other suggestions?

i feel you op! do not overspend or push your budget at all, be persistant! just keep looking!
i did not go to prom and looking at that dress kills me.

try macy's like serra said
also give a look at instore sears, jcp, kohls, even rampage and bebe sometimes have long maxi like dresses with chiffon and sequins on clearance.

i dont think looking online will help too much bc the stores usually have more and are regionally varied.

hope you have a great time!!!

I got all but the first of my girls' formal dresses at Jessica Mc Clintock Outlets. If you have one of those in your area, check them out. My youngest daughter is 21, so it's been a few years since I've been there, but I believe a couple times a year at least they reduced prices further.

OMG! What unbelievable deals they had! I would get my girls two dresses at a time if they had a nice dress in their size.... we're talking MAJOR deals..... I think the MOST I spent at Jessica Mc Clintock Outlet was $25 a dress and the least $10.................... PERFECT formal dresses, just overstock I think, so ymmv on what happens to be in your size.

They closed the store closest to me, but the deals were SO good that we drove an hour to the next nearest store.

In case you think no way would you find anything decent.... by the time my last daughter was thru high school, ALL her friends had found out about the store and they ALL shopped there and at their school....... looks were everything.
