Need new running shoes for my mom!

Want to buy good shoes for my mom. Something like Adidas, Nike, Reebok. Running shoes preferred, something comfortable.

First, I commend you for taking care of your mother. Second, you might wanna give serious thought into taking her to a store that specializes in running shoes (i.e. roadrunner) to see what type of shoes she needs. They have special equipment to determine this like a glass platform that's lit with a mirror that let's you see how high her arch is. They also can film her walking or running and play it back on a computer in slo-mo to see which way her feet move. Even if all she does is walk, the wrong shoes might result in unnecessary pain, ultimately taking the enjoyment out of exercising.

I speak from experience, because I recently bought my mother a pair of Nike Vomero +3's thinking that the extra cushion will help her, but it resulted in hip pain because they were too soft for her walking style. Turns out, she needed more stability type shoes.

I know it might sound like a bit much, especially if she doesn't run, but give it some thought. The prices at the specialty stores can run a bit higher, but they tend to make it up in service and after you find the right shoes, you can continue shopping for 'em online.
