View Full Version : Free Prescription Glasses at Target (kids 12 & under)

Hi...this came across my desk from the kids school. I do not know if it's regional, I'm in S. Florida.

I'd call first!

Target is doing a special promotion for their optical service. It could end anytime (of course)...but will definitely end no later than April 29th.

Children 12 and under can get a free pair of glasses.

You need to bring a valid prescription for glasses from their doctor and Target will let the child pick from about 40 different frames. They will place their best lenses in the frames which are non-glare and scratch resistant and normally sell for $200.00. There are no income guidelines. ANY child 12 and under is eligible.

Thanks! I will definitely call and check this out. I am a teacher, and it hurts to see students who can't see, but parents can't afford the glasses.!!!

actually, it was KC, MO and grey is right, it's over now.
Too bad. I hope Target had good results from their pilot program & will initiate it nationally. :nod:

Wow...thanks for the heads up! I'll let the school know to put it on their site...lol....I just called the Targe and they said they have been getting calls all weekend about it....

sorry..hope it does come back bigger and better though!
