Would like to know where coupon codes are found

here's my problem: I am planning on buying a couple of things at Staples because of the 12% off coupon that was printable (and is in-store only) and which turns out to save me a lot of money becaus I'm buying a lot of stuff. I would also, however, like to use some of the good $20 off $100 coupons and such, but know I can't because all I have is coupon codes. Is there anyway for me to obtain the actual coupons? Where do you guys get them from?
