Hi,

I am scouting for living room furniture in Boston (at the basic a sofa and a loveseat)

My budget is 800$

Can you please recommend some stores in and around Boston?

I have looked at Bob's Discount Furniture and liked their Mckenna leather sofa + love seat for 833$ delivered.

I also checked out the Building 19 in Burlington, MA. there were couple of them, but for quality the price reaches @700 and compared to that I will be happy with Bob's

I am planning to check out the Cort Rental furniture, someone told me they also sell some of their used stuff. If you have bought from them, let me know your views.

Also looking at craigslist.

Any other places that I should check out?

Thanks

Bob's discount is probably your best bet. you can also try bernie and phyll's, but dont just look at the price tag, tell the sales person you're ready to buy, and at the $___ delivered you will buy today.

you should also try to negotiate a best price from any furniture place.

i'm sure you've looked at ikea too.

I second that..Bob's is the best and also do not waste your money on their goof proof warranty..its a total waste of money!!

Probably too late, but I was in the market for a futon or a loveseat. I went to Cardi's discount center in Attleboro and they have a ton of furniture at discounted prices. Some have scratches and stuff and it's the reason they're there. Yesterday I bought part of a sectional (wedge and recliner chair) for $196 for both pieces. I went back today and they had somehow sold it. The lady was very nice and said to look around and she'll ask her manager what he can do for me. I saw a $348 black leather recliner loveseat that looked in great condition. I told her I was interested in that one and she went upstairs to talk to the manager. She came with a very disappointed look and told me that the manager was only reducing the price by 100 to $248. The original price for the loveseat was 599 upstairs. I bought it right away. Then I went upstairs to pay and saw the manager. He apologized to me and said I was being a very great person about the situation and that this rarely happens. Great customer service. I highly recommend them!
