I've been searching online ( kayak, united, aa, orbitz, priceline...) for a one way ticket from Raleigh (RDU) to Chicago (ORD) for May 5th, 2009 and they all give me a price of $160, give or take few $$$. Is this the best I can hope for? I'm somewhat flexible on my departure date ( 5th, 6th or even 7th will work, doesn't matter what time, doesn't matter if there's a connection somewhere). Or should I wait until my departure date and try to purchase ticket then, maybe at the airline counter? Any ideas/help?
