Hey everyone, I have been putting some thought into this idea, and I am sure many people would agree. There shyould be a forum to sell things, possibly even a wanted to buy forum. THat way half of the people on this site that giet their SLICKDEALS can see if anyone else on the site would like a product that they couldnt get from their local store. For the people buying the stuff and selling it on ebay, this could be cheaper because y ou dont have to spend money on a listing fee or a final value fee. I hope one of the mods takes this into consideration, because I know FW has one of these forums. Thanks

Matt;)

this has been suggested before but don't think this will happen here. mainly cause if anybody stiffed anybody, or was shady it would be a real headache for the mods.

There are websites out there that let you list things for free for sale or wanted ads. I don't suggest it on slickdeals either. In addition to the problems listed by arjunsr, you would also have those people that buy multiple items that were listed as a slickdeal for resale and would sell it to fellow slickdealers for profit.....NOT COOL.

I don't want to see this kind of things on Slickdeals, there are enough for sale/wanted websites already.

Which is great in some cases. When I was in CA, EVERYONE uses it religiously. In NYC, people aren't that turned on by it. So it depends where you go I guess. For example, I had a Palm VIIx that I put up on NYC CL, noone interested. I put it on SF CL, immediately gone....

You're right about that Emi. A lot of my friends used that site before and got me hooked on it. Along with Slickdeals, Craigslist is a site I check every single day. Found some good deals on there and have also sold a bunch of stuff on there...it's especially best for bulkier items I would rather not sell on Ebay: for example I sold my rims, tires, exhaust, etc off CL. And best thing it's free!
