why trade caps for flaps and vice versa?

Some people can only enter in a few codes a day (some even less), so it makes sense for them to trade away their flaps so that they'll maximize their... umm... pointage (15 points in caps is better than a single 10-point flap).

For the other people, who have caps to spare and can enter in 10 caps a day every day, it makes sense to them to, again, maximize their pointage, by entering in 10-point flaps instead of 3-point caps.

If the trade ratio isn't too one-sided, both parties benefit greatly from trading this way.

Ask Hank feature on the MCR site-- several are reporting errors when trying to use this function: If you receive an error, edit your email, and remove all question marks, quotation marks, semicolons, colons, and symbols, basically anything that is not a letter, number, period, or comma. (I didn't say it makes sense, but strangely, I have had much success after doing this.)Hey, just decided to post this to help people who are getting Blockbuster Rentals from MyCokeRewards.

If you have coupons come up as already redeemed, when you know for a fact that they haven't been used, its not your fault.

Mycokerewards coupons have been having some issues, and some coupons are just invalid coupons.

Instead of saying "wow, i got owned" you should GET A REFUND!

Follow these steps...

1) Go to mycokerewards.com
2) Click FAQ
3) Click "ask hank"
4) Type "email" and hit "talk"
5) Click the "email us" link that shows up
6) Type a message saying that you had x number of coupons come up already redeemed
7) Wait for a reply and a credit of the amount of points the invalid coupons cost!

Identifying Coke products

You may want to know what type of drink a particular MCR flap came from. If, for example, MCR has another selective point-doubling day (in fall 2007, there was a week when Minute Maid and Nestea codes doubled), it would be handy to know if some of the flaps you have saved up are the right type. With that in mind, I made a few notes on the fridge-pack circle-and-bottle logos which are currently in use:

Flaps:
Red circle, white bottle: All Coke products (Coke, Diet Coke, Caffeine Free Coke, Coke Zero & etc.) and Barqs
Dark green circle, white bottle: Sprite
Green circle, white bottle: Vault, Fanta
Lime green circle, white bottle: Vault Zero
Medium blue circle, white bottle: Nestea
Dark blue circle, white bottle: Fresca
White circle, black bottle: Minute Maid

Cap colors:

Red (Regular/"Enter Code"): Coke brands

Something I noticed about red caps - might come in handy for future DPD's (yeah, right):

The red caps with a red bottle in a white circle come up with only Classic Coke and CF Classic Coke (or unknown) as flavor options.

The red caps with a white bottle (only; no white circle) give you the options for cherry coke and diet flavors like diet with lime and so on.

Perhaps saving some of these red caps w/o a white circle may be benefitial in the future.

MCR rarely gives us much info on their rewards, often even leaving out the model number. If you've gotten a reward, post the model number here so others thinking about getting it can do their research. You may want to include the date you ordered it, in case Coke changes what they ship out.

LOADING FUNDS TO YOUR ECOUNT CARD: The Supplement will indicate if additional funds can be loaded to your Ecount Card.

HOW YOU CAN USE YOUR ECOUNT CARD: You may use your Ecount Card to complete Transactions up to the amount of the funds loaded at merchants that accept Network-branded debit card products by signing for your purchase. We do not guarantee and we are not responsible for the quality of goods or services purchased with your Ecount Card. As a result, you should always take due care in entering into any agreement with another person or merchant. You agree to resolve any disputes with a merchant who honored your Ecount Card directly with the merchant, and not to involve us in that dispute. You can also use your Ecount Card for the additional Transactions described in the Supplement.

AUTHORIZATIONS AND AUTHORIZATION HOLDS: Some merchants may ask us to authorize a Transaction in advance and may estimate its final value. When we authorize the Transaction, we commit to make the requested funds available when the Transaction finally settles. Thus, we may place a hold on funds on your Ecount Card. Some merchants also may add an amount to ensure that sufficient funds will be available to cover the final Transaction, such as a tip at restaurants. The authorization may be denied if the estimated amount exceeds your available funds. In some cases, an authorization may result in a hold for a longer period, up to 90 days. The funds subject to the hold will not be available to you for other purposes until the Transaction is finalized or the hold is released. In addition, if you cancel a Transaction after the merchant obtains an authorization, there may be a temporary hold for that amount of funds for 10 days or longer.

RECEIPTS AND OTHER DOCUMENTATION: You can get a receipt at the time you make any Transactions using your Ecount Card at an ATM or point-of-sale terminal, except for certain small Transactions. You may obtain information about the amount of money you have remaining on your Ecount Card by calling 800-764-5376. This information, along with a 60-day history of Ecount Card Transactions and Loads, is also available online at the Site. You have the right to obtain a 60-day written history of Ecount Card Transactions and Loads by calling 800-764-5376, or by writing us at [address].

LIMITS ON YOUR USE OF YOUR ECOUNT CARD: There are limits on the dollar amount and number of Transactions completed with the Ecount Card during a set time period ("Transaction Limits"). The Transaction Limits are described in the Supplement.

RIGHT TO STOP PAYMENT: If you have told us in advance to make regular payments from your Ecount Card, you can stop any of these payments. Here's how:

Call us at 800-764-5376 or write us at PO Box 284, Conshohocken, PA 19428 USA, in time for us to receive your request 3 business days or more before the payment is scheduled to be made. If you call, we may also require you to put your request in writing and get it to us within 14 days after you call. We will charge you for each stop-payment order you give, as set forth in the Fee Schedule.

Because your Ecount Card can be used only for the amount loaded to the Ecount Card, we recommend that you not use your Ecount Card for recurring payments. If you do, please be sure that you have sufficient funds for each payment. Otherwise, your payments will be rejected, and your Ecount Card may be terminated or suspended.

COLLECTION OF NEGATIVE BALANCES: You should expect that any Transaction in an amount that exceeds your Ecount Card balance will be rejected. If a merchant completes a Transaction that results in a negative balance on your Ecount Card, you agree to immediately pay the amount of the negative balance plus any applicable Fees to us at PO Box 284, Conshohocken, PA 19428 USA. If you fail to make any required payment, we have the right to initiate collection proceedings against you and/or report your failure to credit reporting agencies in compliance with applicable law.

YOUR LIABILITY FOR UNAUTHORIZED USE OF YOUR ECOUNT CARD: Tell us AT ONCE if you believe your Ecount Card has been lost or stolen. Telephoning is the best way of keeping your possible losses down. You could lose all the money on your Ecount Card.

If your Ecount Card is used to make purchases at merchants without your authorization, you will not be responsible for such unauthorized usage provided that (1) you notify us within 24 hours after you learn of the loss or theft; (2) you have exercised reasonable care in safeguarding your Ecount Card from risk of loss or theft; (3) you have not reported 2 or more incidents of unauthorized use within the preceding 12 months; and (4) your Ecount Card is in good standing.

If you tell us within 2 business days after you learn of the loss or theft of your Ecount Card, but you do not satisfy all of the conditions in the prior paragraph, you can lose no more than $50 if someone used your Ecount Card without your permission.

If you do NOT tell us within 2 business days after you learn of the loss or theft of your Ecount Card, and we can prove we could have stopped someone from using your Ecount Card without your permission if you had told us, you could lose as much as $500.

Also, if an Ecount Card history that you obtain shows Transactions that you did not make, tell us at once. If you do not tell us within the lesser of 60 days after you received a written Ecount Card history or accessed an electronic Ecount Card history, or 120 days after the Transaction was first made available in your Ecount Card history, you may not get back any money you lost after that period if we can prove that we could have stopped someone from taking the money if you had told us in time. If a good reason (such as a long trip or a hospital stay) kept you from telling us, we will extend the time period.

If you believe your Ecount Card has been lost or stolen, or that someone may use your Ecount Card number without your permission: Call as at 800-764-5376, contact us at our Site, or write to Enterprise Risk Management Department, PO Box 284, Conshohocken, PA 19428 USA.

OUR LIABILITY FOR FAILURE TO COMPLETE A TRANSACTION: If we do not complete a Transaction or Load on your Ecount Card on time or in the correct amount, according to this Agreement with you, we will be liable for your losses or damages, to the extent required by law. There are some circumstances where we will not be liable. We will not be liable, for instance:

1. If, through no fault of ours, you do not have enough money on your Ecount Card to make the Transaction;
2. If, through no fault of ours, the funds on your Ecount Card are not available because the fund are uncollected, or subject to legal process;
3. If the ATM or merchant where you are making the Transaction does not have enough cash;
4. If circumstances beyond our control (such as an Act of God, fire or other catastrophe, or an electrical or computer failure) prevents the Transaction or Load, despite reasonable precautions that we have taken;
5. If your Ecount Card has been reported lost or stolen and you are using the reported Ecount Card;
6. If we have reason to believe that the Transaction or Load requested is unauthorized, suspicious, or fraudulent; or
7. If you attempt to complete an impermissible Transaction at an ATM or merchant.

There may be other reasons stated in this Agreement.

IN CASE OF ERRORS OR QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR ECOUNT CARD: Contact our Customer Service Department at 800-764-5376, at our Site, or write to PO Box 284, Conshohocken, PA 19428, as soon as you can, if you think an error has occurred on your Ecount Card. We allow you to report an error until the lesser of 60 days after you received a written Ecount Card history or accessed an electronic Ecount Card history, or 120 days after the Transaction or Load was first made available in your Ecount Card history.

1. Tell us your full name and Ecount Card number.
2. Describe the error, or the Transaction or Load you are unsure about, and explain as clearly as you can why you believe it is an error or why you need more information.
3. Tell us the dollar amount of the suspected error.

If you tell us orally, we may require that you send us your complaint or question in writing within 10 business days.

We will determine whether an error occurred within 10 business days after we hear from you and will correct any error promptly. If we need more time, however, we may take up to 45 days to investigate your complaint or question. If we decide to do this, we will credit your Ecount Card within 10 business days for the amount you think is in error, so that you will have the use of the money during the time it takes us to complete our investigation. If we ask you to put your complaint or question in writing and we do not receive it within 10 business days, we may not credit your Ecount Card.

For errors involving new Ecount Cards, point-of-sale, or foreign-initiated Transactions, we may take up to 90 days to investigate your complaint or question. For new Ecount Cards, we may take up to 20 business days to credit your Ecount Card for the amount you think is in error.

We will tell you the results within 3 business days after completing our investigation. If we decide that there was no error, we will send you a written explanation. You may ask for copies of the documents that we used in our investigation.

EXPIRATION DATE; AVAILABLE FUNDS DO NOT EXPIRE: While there is a card expiration date embossed on the front of your Ecount Card, the funds on your Ecount Card do not expire. The expiration date is provided to ensure that your Ecount Card can be used at merchants that request and/or require customers to provide an expiration date during the Transaction process. You may not use your Ecount Card after the expiration date. If you do not use the full amount on your Ecount Card by the expiration date, we may issue you a new Ecount Card automatically, or you can call customer service to request a new Ecount Card (the "Replacement Card"). The charge for issuing a Replacement Card is set forth in the Fee Table. Subject to applicable law and for valid reasons, we reserve the right to decline to issue a Replacement Card.

PRIVACY: We collect, use and disclose personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. In particular, will disclose personal information to third parties about your Ecount Card or the Transactions or Loads you make?

1. where it is necessary for completing Transactions or Loads, or
2. in order the verify the existence and condition of your Ecount Card for a third party, such as a credit bureau or merchant, or
3. in order to comply with court orders, or
4. if you give us your written or other permission, or
5. as described in our Privacy Policy and as described below in the "Personal Information" section.

A copy of our Privacy Policy is included with and incorporated into this Agreement. You may also review our Privacy Policy at any time at the Site.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Except to the extent described in the section titled "Our Liability for Failure to Complete A Transaction" or as described in the Supplement, or as otherwise required by law, we, our affiliates and the parties with whom we contract in order to offer the Ecount Card are neither responsible nor liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating in any way to the Ecount Card, your use (or misuse) of the Ecount Card, the Site, the content or information contained within the Site, or any products or services purchased using the Ecount Card.

TAXES: You acknowledge and agree that we are not obligated to determine whether any federal, provincial or local tax applies to any Transaction involving your Ecount Card and are not responsible for collecting, remitting, or reporting any sales, use, income or other taxes arising from any such Transaction.

TRANSACTIONS MADE IN FOREIGN CURRENCIES: Your Ecount Card is denominated in Canadian currency. Transactions made in currencies other than Canadian Dollars will be converted to Canadian Dollars under the then current regulations of the Network. Those regulations currently provide that the conversion rate may be either a wholesale market rate or government-mandated rate in effect the day the Network processes the Transaction. The currency conversion rate in effect on the processing date may differ from the rate in effect on the Transaction date or the posting date. We will also add a Foreign Currency Conversion Fee on all Transactions made in currencies other than Canadian Dollars. The Foreign Currency Conversion Fee will be equal to a percentage of the amount of each foreign Transaction, as set forth in the Fee Schedule.

BUSINESS DAYS: For purposes of this Agreement, our business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT: We may, in our sole discretion, add to, delete, or change any of the terms of this Agreement, including the Supplement (each, a "Change"). Among other Changes, we may add or increase Fees at any time. We will provide you with notice of Changes to the extent required by law.

TERMINATION: We, in our sole discretion, may terminate this Agreement, your access to your Ecount Card, or your access to the Site for any reason. We will provide you any notice required by applicable law. If any funds remain on your Ecount Card, we will pay them to you by issuing a cheque. We may terminate this Agreement immediately, without prior notice, if you commit any fraudulent, illegal or impermissible acts or provide false information to us, in which event we may withhold from any payment to you any amount we reasonably believes you owe as a result of any wrongful conduct in connection with your Ecount Card or the Site. You acknowledge and agree that we may set off the amount of any outstanding fees or payments due to us prior to issuing any authorized refunds.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: You authorize us to collect from you information that relates specifically to you ("Personal Information") for the purposes of authorizing and processing transactions or services you have requested in respect of your Ecount Card and on-going account administration (to meet risk management, fraud detection and prevention and security requirements, to meet requirements under anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing laws and regulations and other legal, regulatory audit, processing and industry self-regulatory requirements, including as required by foreign laws applicable to us, or our affiliates, agents, mandataries or service providers) and to disclose your Personal Information to legal and regulatory authorities, as appropriate, for the same purposes.

Personal Information that we hold regarding you will be used only in activities generally carried out by us and only our employees, agents or mandatories or any party to a contract of work or services will be given access to such information when deemed necessary or useful to perform their duties or carry out their mandates or contracts.

Any file concerning you will be kept at the appropriate department with Customer Service. You may access some of your Personal Information on the Site, and you may also obtain a paper copy of such information provided you pay the reasonable fees charged by us for this purpose. You may also contact Customer Service to request access to your file and rectification of any inaccuracies in your Personal Information.

You agree that we may, at all times, without notifying you, assign (by assignment, sale or otherwise) to any person, any of our right under this Agreement, including, without limitation, the issuance of your Ecount Card or any card services associated therewith. The assignee or our successors may be required by applicable laws to retain your Personal Information for a certain period of time and the assignee or our successors may collect, use or disclose your Personal Information for purposes similar to those described in this Agreement.

You acknowledge that we may use agents and service providers, including our affiliates, to collect, use, store or process Personal Information on our behalf. Some of these service providers or affiliates may be located outside of Canada and your Personal Information may be transferred or processed outside of Canada for the purposes described in this Agreement. Contractual or other means used by us to protect your Personal Information are subject to legal requirements in foreign jurisdictions applicable to our service providers and affiliates, for example, lawful requirements to disclose personal information to government authorities in those countries.

In order to enjoy quality service and obtain any information available with respect to the Ecount Card, you authorize us (or our subsidiaries or any other enterprise we deem appropriate) to use the information we hold on you for the purpose of sending you any documents, advertising material, or information that we consider appropriate. You can ask us to cease using your Personal Information for these purposes at any time by contacting Customer Service. We shall not refuse to render the services provided for under this Agreement for the sole reason that you have withdrawn your authorization for us to use your Personal Information for the purposes described in this paragraph.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION: This Agreement is subject to specific arbitration provisions. Any Claim (as defined below) will unless prohibited by law, be determined by arbitration outside the court system. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to waive any right you may have to commence or participate in any class action against us related to any Claim, and, where applicable, you also agree to opt out of any class proceeding against us. Arbitration will be conducted by [one] arbitrator pursuant to the laws and rules relating to commercial arbitration in the province in which you reside. The language of the arbitration shall be in English or, if requested for cardholders in the province of Quebec, in French.

"Claim" means any dispute between you and us that arises from or relates in any way to your Ecount Card or the any Transactions, including disputes concerning: (1) any items you purchased with your Ecount Card or any Transactions with your Card; (2) advertisements, promotions, disclosures or documents relating to your Ecount Card or to any Transactions; and (3) this Provision's applicability or enforceability or the arbitrability of disputes under this Provision. It includes disputes based on constitutional provisions, statutes, regulations, ordinances, common law, equity, contracts, and acts and omissions of every type (whether intentional, fraudulent, reckless, or negligent). It includes disputes that seek relief of any type, including equitable relief, damages or declarations of legal rights.

ELECTRONIC ALERTS: Cardholders, at their own discretion, can opt into electronic card alerts. Card alerts are available via email and/or text messaging. The service is provided by us through the facilities of a wireless service provider(s) selected by you ("Wireless Service Provider") or a computer having access to the Internet ("Computer"). A "Content Provider" is a third party content provider to the source. A "Technology Provider" is a third party provider of technology services necessary to operate the service. "Equipment" means the wireless receiving equipment through which you intend to access and use the service. "System" means the computer hardware and software owned or operated by us or any Technology Provider and used in providing the service. THE CARD NOTIFICATIONS THAT YOU SELECT TO BE PROVIDED TO YOU THROUGH THIS SERVICE ARE FOR CONVENIENCE PURPOSES ONLY. UNLESS SPECIFICALLY STATED OTHERWISE, THE NOTIFICATIONS ARE NOT REAL TIME AND WILL ONLY BE SENT DURING THE TIMES YOU SELECT. THEY DO NOT AMEND, SUPPLEMENT, CHANGE OR REPLACE ANY OTHER NOTICE OR INFORMATION THAT YOU MAY RECEIVE IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ECOUNT CARD, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED TO YOU ON YOUR ECOUNT CARD HISTORY OR CARDHOLDER AGREEMENT. However, your Wireless Service Provider may levy fees or charges for receipt of messages by your Equipment through the service, and you are solely responsible for such charges. We are providing you with access to various types of information through the service which may include, without limitation, your Ecount Card balance and other financial information directions (the "Information") solely for your own use and not for further redistribution. The Information is our property and is protected by applicable law. We reserve any rights not expressly granted herein. All Information is believed to be accurate and timely (subject to any delays), but we and our Technology Providers do not warrant or guarantee such accuracy or timeliness or the security of any Information transmitted to you using the service. The service and System are available through your Equipment when it is within the operating range of your Wireless Service Provider or a Computer having an active connection to the Internet. The service is subject to transmission limitation or interruption. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for performance degradation and delays of any kind including those due to conditions on the Internet or due to the Equipment, your Computer or actions of the Content or Technology Providers. You acknowledge that we and any Content and Technology Providers shall not be liable to you if the service in a given location is not available. If the service is not available within your intended location, you agree that your sole remedy shall be to terminate this Agreement. You agree not to use the service for any unlawful or abusive purpose or in any way, which damages our property or interferes with or disrupts the System or other users. Resale of the service is prohibited without prior contract arrangements with us and any required regulatory approvals. You are responsible for ensuring that your Equipment and Computer are compatible with the service and System and meets federal standards. Any information provided to us by you in association with the service shall be governed by our Privacy Policy posted on the site. We and our parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates, including their respective directors, officers and employees (collectively, "Companies") shall not be liable for any loss, injury, claim, liability or damage of any kind resulting in any way from (i) your use of the service, (ii) access to the System (iii) your use of any Equipment or Computer in connection with the service or for Equipment or Computer failure or modification, (iv) the content of Information or other materials included with or accessed via use of the service, (v) the failure to deliver any card notification(s) or the delivery of notification(s) at times different that the times that you have designated, (vi) any acts or omissions of any Content or Technology Providers, (vii) for system failure or modification, or (viii) any "force majeure" (i.e., any flood, extraordinary weather conditions, earthquake or other act of god, fire, war, insurrection, riot, labor dispute, accident, action of government, communications or power failure, or equipment or software malfunction) or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of us or our Content or Technology Providers. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

MISCELLANEOUS

1. Entire Agreement: This Agreement, including the Supplement, constitutes the entire agreement between you and us with respect to your Ecount Card and our relationship regarding the Ecount Card, and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements, claims, representations and understandings of the parties in connection with the subject matter hereof.
2. Governing Law: Unless otherwise prohibited by law, this Agreement and your Ecount Card are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
3. Severability: If any provision of this Agreement shall be deemed unlawful, void, or unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
4. No Waiver: No failure by us to enforce the strict performance of any provision of this Agreement will constitute a waiver by us of any right to subsequently enforce such provision or any other provisions of this Agreement.
5. Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under this Agreement. We may assign our rights or obligations, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice to you.

FCAC: If you have a complaint regarding a potential violation of a consumer protection law, a public commitment or an industry code of conduct, you may contact the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada in writing at 6th Floor, Enterprise Building, 427 Laurier Avenue West, Ottawa, Ontario K1R 1B9.

LANGUAGE: By registered for, activating or using the Ecount card, you confirm that you have expressly requested that this Agreement and any related document be drawn up in English. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OBTAINING A NEW ECOUNT CARD: To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU: When you request or register for an Ecount Card, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

TRANSACTION LIMITS

Be careful, in the instant win thread, they are saying that eprize sent out lots of emails cancelling multiple wins. if you used different computers you might be okay but because of a lot of cheating, even the people who are legit are losing thier prizes.

1) Movie tickets will be back in the next month. Didn't say of course, how many points they would be or what chains. Last I checked they had inflated up to over 500 points.

2) They seemed surprised to hear that many of the MCRPointsplus 'deals' were lousy. People gave them examples of specific items that they could buy for less than were being offered through the program.

3) They said that they will be adding new rewards every 2 weeks.

4) After someone said that they liked the Sprite IWG(who didn't, LOL), they hinted that they might do something similar later this year(although it seems like the mycoke contest is pretty similar, but maybe it's a different division).

5) People were asking for more Coke merchandise, but they said that it was difficult as the price of shipping the items had to be factored in to the cost.

I'm getting really tired of companies using flash. Sure, it's cool. But, if your designing a site that is going to be used constantly by returning users. Make it quick n' smooth.

It took forever to do a rule 5c on the instant win game on the MCR site.

I couldn't even get MCRPointsPlus to work.

So, there is progress. But, with this 120 points a week. I may be done with it. but, I do like the idea of movie tickets. Plus, I wouldn't mind getting one of the polar bear kits since I've always missed out on those.

EDIT: I did just know was able to access the MCRPointsPlus. Not impressed.

We often all use my computer - especially since it's quite "ill" (failing apart and thus rarely moved) and sits on the kitchen table. If I've got the site up and any of the family is around, one by one we all enter on my computer. It's just a whole lot easier than repeatedly pulling up the site.

I don't like the way the MCR site is now because I have to scroll to see the whole page. They keep changing stuff, and not for the better. Maybe they are trying to drive people away!

Just found an email from ePrize; looks like I am a permanent member of the loser cruise, DQ'd, and I don't mean Dairy Queened.

I entered the ones they call "bonus codes", but I only got them for my account because I am the only one in our household who has a linked cell phone, and I never actually used them. They're just sitting in my account, unredeemed. But, the two winning (now probably both disqualified) codes were redeemed. The first one was via rule 5b, second was via text. I wonder if they'll send a text disqualifying the texted one as well.... They were both redeemed on the same day (just checked) and those are the only two I've won, but there's no two ways about it, I entered 4 times that day.

MCR Community site says that if you are at 119 points (or 118 or close) and enter a code that will take you over, the system will reject the entry and not process the code. SO if you are not going to hit 120 exactly, then you cannot max out your opportunity for the week.

If they really wanted to "disqualify as many people as possible and minimize the number of giftcards that they actually have to give away", they could have let the cheating continue and cracked down after a month or longer. The Twist, Txt, Get promo has only been available for a little more than two weeks.

Fifteen characters (3x5) was the length of the MCR code in phase 1, which ended in April 2007. There was much speculation then on whether the old codes would be grandfathered in; as it turned out, 15-character codes have been accepted until this week.

Yeah, that occurred to me, but I guess I've watched too many of those televised judge shows.

I too have received the dreaded "NO CARD FOR YOU!!" email. I called them and they did say that I can continue to participate so long as I only use 2 each day. So either the person I talked to was completely incorrect or they are just out to take back some cards because their system mistakenly gave out too many winners and they are trying to absorb some of their losses.

I have only received 1 email but did have 5 total wins. Maybe that one email would cover all entries or would you get multiple ones for each win that you have turned in.

I too have received the dreaded "NO CARD FOR YOU!!" email. I called them and they did say that I can continue to participate so long as I only use 2 each day. So either the person I talked to was completely incorrect or they are just out to take back some cards because their system mistakenly gave out too many winners and they are trying to absorb some of their losses.

I have only received 1 email but did have 5 total wins. Maybe that one email would cover all entries or would you get multiple ones for each win that you have turned in.

Thanks for the heads up on that. They might be sending one blanket email to cover all "wins", especially considering those people who have 30 and 150 accounts

If it did recognize the first or second entry, it wouldn't have allowed the third. At least, it shouldn't have, but with the way they run things and all the glitches, I wouldn't be surprised if they used the third entry to their own advantage. "NO SOUP FOR YOU!"

how long did it take to get the code? All I got was a email with that link in it saying that it would be mailed after the promotion ended/pending verification. :confused:

I should have been more specific: the confirmation link after you go with the captcha. It's very slow to react, and I found myself re-clicking it to see if anything had gone through. And since MCR's current policy is 'Everything you know (or do) is wrong'...

Did my 1st 40 code week on the widget. I was starting to worry because I hit a bunch of invalid codes. there was one cap I just gave up on and tossed. There was a number stamped in the condom right over the code and I couldn't make out the two letters under it. I peeled the condom up and the code came with it. I didn't feel like deciphering it backwards.

I have yet to hear anyone to be required to send in anything. If the point are in your account, that should be enough.

To enter the code, go to rhapsody.com
then click on the mp3 tab near the top
then click on the blue redeem coupon in the upper right hand corner
i have gotten a blank screen when I tried to enter the code through "my account"

I don't see it. I got a PSP for 1450 and a $100 addidas GC for like 2500. Those all look like stinkers to me. Went to the nike store today and they have jack that interests me.

It's not an MCR exclusive thing. It's a promo that Disney is running right now (not sure if it's just for 2009 or not). And for those that are already park members, on their bday, they get a GC of the value of a ticket to spend anywhere in the park.

I don't have any kids, and I prefer to stay away from places where I am obligated to tolerate them....... When I go to six flags, I always rent the Qbot so I can go directly to the front of the line, get on the ride, and enjoy myself. That said, I only go to six flags when the wife and I score TOTALLY free tickets (the memphis redbirds gave them away once a year for a long time), never on a bogo, so our only outlay is parking and the qbot. :D

Is anyone else having the MCR site open a survey window, answering two questions, and getting kicked to a disqualification page? I just got mail saying the reporter had been sent to the 'you don't suit our current needs' screen after giving her birthday and saying she visited the site more than once a week. (The disqualification page apparently says so at the top URL and demands an Email address.)

If so, looks like the only people Coke currently wants to hear from about the program are the ones who don't use it.

After I get that Farberware tall vegetable steamer, I'm going to be using all my codes for the free coupons for more coke products. I know I'll be a "winner" that way.

Just like at work, there is a $5 a week check pool. I win $5 every week by not playing. :lol: Every week on MCR I'll be assured to get at least 4 free coupons for coke products.

No, I'm still on it. I had to create a separate trash folder just for Coke consolation coupon codes. Whatever the trick is to winning this thing, I haven't learned it.

It's not a big deal if I don't get them, but I have enough codes to max out for the next 2 weeks, so I figured I'd offer so someone with some extra MM flaps who is still short of maxing out could get some extra points, and I can get some bonus points above the 120 for the week.

I agree there's nothing much to get right now, I cash out for some 20oz coupons every once in a while and hopefully they will have some movie passes again soon.

I don't think you can win Rhapsody codes, but it's possible (I don't know what all is on the prize list)

Stouffer's auctions are really hard to win, you need to have close to 10,000 points to have a shot at something nowadays. However, I've won 3 times with them since it started, but haven't won even once with any of MCR's sweeps (save for this new MyCoke thing). The only downside to Stouffer's besides the length of time it takes to collect codes between wins, is their shipping time. It takes several months after a win before you see your prize (I'm still waiting on one from last year) and there is no communication from them letting you know when it should arrive.

I would have liked to have had an Ipod touch. I was about 3500 points short when the 120 point/week limit went into effect. It would have taken around 29 weeks to get enough points and I did not think that the odds of Nike giftcards remaing that long were very good, so I settled for an Ipod nano instead.

Oh YEAH! Stupid MCR clock is off! I entered a code, after I selected the flavor, the red screen appeared and I had to click the x. Hit enter codes again, and the counter reset, however the last code I input counted toward the new week! "I have 117 points remaining for the week."

If this happens to anyone else next sunday it would be interesting.

A nice lil' countdown clock would be a good thing Coke!

I think you can't enter 20 invalaid codes without entering at least 10 good ones or you're locked out of your account for 24hrs, at least that's how it was before the new weekly limit, don't know if they changed it.

It must be posted somewhere in the official rules.

I wish 2 Liters were worth more then 3 points!

I have a bag full of 2 Liter caps but it takes so long to put the codes in and for the 3 points to add up to anything useful that the fun of the rewards program isn't really there.

This morning I was wandering around on deck when I tripped and fell over the railing. Some kind soul threw me a beach ball and I managed to stay afloat until a surfer rescued me.

I wish 2 Liters were worth more then 3 points!

I have a bag full of 2 Liter caps but it takes so long to put the codes in and for the 3 points to add up to anything useful that
the fun of the rewards program isn't really there.

I just got the dreaded e-mail saying one of my $20 cash card wins has been voided.:(
In all fairness, the amount of information they ask for when you make an account is so minimal, I wonder if they could actually prove you played more than twice if push came to shove.

I just redeemed for a cash card that I won last week. The redemption process as been changed. You get a choice of a reloadable card or non reloadable card. They also ask for a social security number. Finally, it says the card will be shipped out in 3-4 weeks instead of 6-8 weeks.

I hate the DANSANI water codes, sometimes it takes multiple invalid attempts to read those.

Here is the response

"In a code-based program like My Coke Rewards there is always a security risk that someone will generate and use a program to submit random "codes" into the system. We've seen attempts at this before, but the limit on invalid codes quickly stops them and frustrates these attempts.

The full list of characters we use is posted online, so creating a program to generate potentially valid codes is fairly trivial for a programmer. Allowing unlimited code entry attempts would be disastrous, but maybe 20 per day is too strict? How often do people hit this limit? What limit would be high enough for hard-to-read codes but low enough to protect us from robotic abuse?"

Coke's answer is very understandable from an abuse standpoint, so I would continue to support the 20 invalid code daily limit as long as the system unlocked itself the next "day" or 24 hours (or midnight even). The second paragraph seems like an open discussion they are willing to support if there is really a problem with invalid codes. Its only with the DANSANI codes I ever have problems with, so its only about once aweek I run into this problem. If there really is a problem that I can take back discussion to the community site that is productive, I do not have a problem, as long as a problem exists.

WTF! I don't like handing out my SS# too freely and $20 hardly seems worth the Personally Identifiable Information loss if someone breaks in and/or steals the data.

Oh, so you know what, 20 per day isn't horrible... because at least you can continue the next day. Still, it will take forever to enter all these codes due to invalids.

you only need the social security number if you want the reloadable card (which, after you get it, can get the $20 instantly after you win), the non reloadable one, you don't need social security

There is an inactivity fee, but it only comes into effect after 9 months. I do not plan to have a balance on the card that long. I got the reloadable card because I can have cash added instantly if I win again.

I'm thinking Coke may have bigger problems than ``fixing'' its MyCoke Rewards. I've noticed the number of caps and codes left on my desk from co-workers has been in a steady decline in recent months. And in the last two weeks has slowed to a trickle. Even the 12-packs sticking out of trash cans in my development has declined. Anyone else noticing this troubling trend?

coke will still have it's sales due to the 20 oz coupons, so sales will not drop off completely, however revenue will take a hit from all the Coke/Powerade coupon redemptions making up a lager percentage of sales...

I got the you will not get your gc email now I did not even know about the other way yet ( I only texted) so I did not do it more then 2 times in one day we do have 2 account on my coke but those first days only one accout was playing. ( the other dose belong to a second person in this house) my question is do you lose all you win I only won 2 on this account. Did I lose them both and any other chances to win any more?
