Free bike rental in Lower Manhattan,NYC to start May 13

Starting May 12, you’ll be able to reserve a bike in advance at http://www.downtownny.com/bikearound

Starting May 13, you’ll be able to borrow a bike for free in Lower Manhattan for up to two and a half hours through a program launched by the Downtown Alliance.

The bikes will be available at the South Street Seaport and can be returned at four locations in Manhattan, according to the Daily News. A credit card will be required as a gaurante, the paper reports.
