Hey gang,

I have a perfectly good 1.73ghz pentium M processor that came out of a dead laptop. I would like to make an energy efficient PC so I don't have to keep my gaming rig on all the time. Basically I'm looking to build a nettop.

I just need a motherboard that will fit this CPU, I have everything else (except maybe a heatsink/fan for it, but I can find those). The problem is that it's a mobile processor, and there are very few desktop boards for these CPUs. I can find them for around $150, but that defeats the purpose of saving money on energy bills if I'm just going to spend it building the thing.

So I need a socket 479 motherboard, or an asus CT-479 socket adapter to use it in a 478 board. I would like to spend less than $50 on this if possible. If anyone knows where I could find such a thing, new or used, please let me know. If anyone has one, I have an ECS Nforce 570SLIt-A motherboard and an unused intel stock socket 775 heatsink that I could trade for it. PM me if intersted. Thanks!
