Config is :
64 bit Architecture
Intel Core 2 Duo processor (centrino technology) or better
Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium 64
15" TFT or more
4 GB memory
320GB 7200 rpm
DVD
Intel Wireless Wi-Fi
Bluetooth
Mouse
Laptop bag
4 fan cooler or better
& other specs U know better.

IMO to limit yourself strictly by price, you are also limiting yourself from a great deal. Sometimes laptops come around that have everything anyone could ever want, but are $300 more than what you are willing to spend. Then there are those super cheap laptops(under $500) that in the end just don't do it for you. I am sure those who've purchased netbooks in the last couple of years will agree.

I usually don't check just one place when I buy, but these are the 1st places I usually go.
