stainless steel everything, large cooking area, high btu, good reviews, and under $400, why is this not flying off the shelves? Am I missing something?

weber 26" charcoal grill, huge cooking area, weber quality, under $300 Better than gas?

costco's current model, largest cooking area, stainless steel cooking burners, under $500.

Which one to choose? Please help!

I would choose gas over charcoal for convenience. Make sure whatever grill you buy has ample spare parts that are readily available. Even the best grills need renewing. (new starters, grates, drip pans, etc)
I think Weber and Char Broil probably have the best access to parts.

I personally own a Weber Genesis Silver B gas grill and LOVE it.

I just bought a Char-Griller last night. Never heard of them? Neither had I until yesterday.

I was crusing around and came across this website: http://www.barbecuebible.com/board/index.php

Check out the Char-Griller Duo - has both a charcoal and a gas grill combo. This thing is a TANK. It's big and heavy and seems like it will last a good long time.

Best part? $299. I couldn't believe it. You can find them at Lowes.

I second this. Charcoal takes longer (although many argue it has a better taste), I find gas to be nice since it is so quick. Your parts will wear out, being able to replace them will save you a lot of money, unless you get the cheapest grill available, then its usually cheaper to buy a new one every few years.
