Hi,
My Nikon D40 DSLR is on its way to reach me. And I know that I cannot take the camera anywhere with the case for it. I would appreciate if anyone can help me in finding the case for Nikon D40 DSLR?
In future I may expect Rocket air blower & lens pen too. So, please post if there is any good deal for these too.
I am new to DSLR and I am not aware of any gimmick. Please post if anything I can learn from.
Thanks
kyzen

My favorite case of the half dozen or so I've owned is the LowePro Slingshot, either the 100 or 200. The 300 and 350 are too big for my tastes.

I got my Nikon D40 last Oct. Someone recommended TENBA GEN431.It's a little pricey comparing to other similar products, however, I was considering to get one.

Check out the Crumpler bags, I have a Lowepro but after seeing a Crumpler, I regret getting the Lowepro.

Have a D60 and slingshot 200. D60 sinks in a little low and I think SS 100 is a better fit, but on the SS 200, I'm able to store the D60 w/ 18-105 lens attached, an extra D60 body, gorilla pod slr, 55-200mm lens, 50mm AF-S, sb-400, sb-600, charger accessories/extra batteries, and an Archos 5 quite nicely. If you're not planning to own too many accessories, then the SS 100 will suit just fine. Also consider getting or one similar to the Lowepro Topload zooom mini for when you don't need to bring everything.

Sure, however, I just knew that they discontinued this model. We are still able to buy it in my country though. Anyway they do have another sling type bag, which is a little bigger and different style. You may just go to the official site to check it out.

I have a Crumpler and love it. I like the messenger style bag and the fact that it doesn't look like a camera bag. You can also take out the padded dividers and use it as a regular messenger too when you don't have your camera.
