I use to work for U.S. Cellular - so sorry if I sound like a sales person - but why not sign a new contract and get a phone for free? You could also ask at your local store to see if they have any used phones that they can sell you cheap!

Roughly under 50$ prefered but im looking for particular features, primarily Mp3 with expandable memory.

I would but the contract is under a family member who would prefer not to renew. I will check the store though.
