I need an 8000 - 1000 BTU air conditioner for the bedroom. I want something quiet that can cool and is energy efficient.
So far, sam's club seems the best choice with a 10k GE unit. However, it has no reviews and I can't tell if it will be noisy or not. I wish they had an 8k btu unit though as my bedroom is around 350 sq ft. http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?dest=5&item=436352
I have a through the wall installation, but those are too expensive, so I am just going to place a window air conditioner in there.
