View First Unread not working...

I searched this forum and saw a couple references to this, but none resolved or recent. I thought this option would take me to the 1st unread by me-as it does on other sites-but it's just taking me to the last post. Anyone else having this problem?? Any suggestions, or is just the norm?

wait for the page to fully load. usually, attachments cause delay in bringing you to the last post.

works fine for me...what browser/OS are you using? does it happen if you log in on a different browser or different machine?
