Some posts don't show up

I use this site religiously and check it about every hour. Sometimes I will notice if I look back at deals for earlier in the day there are sometimes ones posted that WEREN'T there earlier when I checked. No, I am not just missing them when I checked earlier, they just weren't there. For example, the Amex Card thread posted at around 11:00 AM today.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I have not had that problem with Slickdeals, but some clients have had that with other sites because their company proxy servers were caching the site and not refreshing it.

It can also occur based on an Internet Explorer setting. If you are using IE, make sure to set the following option:

Tools
Internet Options
General tab
Settings
Check for newer versions of stored pages
Make sure this option is enabled: Every visit to the page

Yeah I already have that setting. But the thing is, I will see other threads from before and after that time, just not the thread in question so it can't be a cache issue because if I am seeing ones after that time, I should see that one as well.

Perhaps that is whats happening. If I notice it again I will check to see if that was the case.

Oh really?? I was wondering why it wasnt in the Freebies forum.

Which also leads me to ask.. why was it moved out of freebies?

I just intentionally reposted it in freebies ( didnt know it originally began there ) but why couldnt it be posted in both forums? Some people dont go thru the entire site. And, I have seen other multiple posts from same deals in both forums.

I did give props to the OP's! But for those who wouldnt have seen it otherwise, I figured it would be ok.

If not, just delete my post. No use merging it, just causes more clutter.
